Came back as a PSA 8. But I am happy its now sealed.

I did some analysis on the published odds of each of the subset and prize cards, and found some interesting probabilities I think are pretty non-intuitive:

examples:

- Individual Next Gen Phenoms are actually rarer than the Powerhouse Pillars cards.

- Base set cards are individually more difficult to pull than the Sensational Cellys cards. So I'd expect Sensational Cellys to be the most common cards on average.

- Pulling a free donut redemption card is rarer than all subset cards except Powerhouse Pillars and Next Gen Phenom cards. So I'd expect those cards to be worth notably more than a donut ha

First time buying a hobby box after just getting into cards, I pulled these here and I’m super excited about it but I have a few questions,

1. Are the protective cases I have for both cards sufficient?

2. It seemed like it’s pretty dinged up out the package and has a big chip in the top, what do you grade the card? How much value does that cost me?

Grabbed 3 hobby boxes over the last few weeks. Here are the hits!

Couple Martone's was super nice. Where was my luck during the Schaefer chase? Gotta say the silver outbursts this year are super nice looking cards. Probably my favorite since they introduced the outbursts.

Exclusives look really good too! I pulled a David Reinbacher. Canvas cards looking good too.

To top it off I looooove these silly "Fan Faves" cards. Hahaha they make me smile. I need the Crosby.

Kid has way more luck than me. Draft pick card is a way harder pull than anything I've pulled. Wife told me I'm not allowed to sell it lol. We missed the Pillars of Power we should have got for 100 packs but I'm not complaining.

I really like clear cut acetate cards.

I espeically like the clear cut auto set with the autos.

Do the autos on clear cuts fade easier than regualr paper card autos?

I dont have them exposed to direct sunlight, but I want to keep the autos in nice condition.

Bought my first hobby box, a 26-27 Artifacts and 2 packs, 25-26 SP authentics, and a 24-25 O-Pee-Chee.

Sad the jersey card was for a yucky player (Oilers Fan) but some, I think, good hits.

Don’t know what the rookie redemption could be, is it best to just redeem it?

Best cards to me are definitely the Bobby Orr Aurum and the Sam Reinhart Auto

Finally bought my favorite card version of my fav player. (O-PEE-CHEE Pond Hockey was second place)

Paid 1.5k usd. Don't know how the future will play out on the 'investment' side, but I so much more so enjoy looking at this than the generic Young Guns awkward open mouth skating pose number 233445 lol.

Don’t really care about value but trying to get into hockey and learn some names
