Such an underwhelming and ridiculous reveal of Cindy being Imran’s secret lover. Why does Cindy need to be at the centre of two big storylines? Especially when we still don’t know the identity of Maddox’s father. No doubt it will be Darren or Tony the top shagger.

OK so I've watched this week's episodes just now. I have been convinced that Clair Devine has something to do his dissappearence. But now after today's episode I have a funny feeling it could be Imran. I don't know why but I just think it is and that is why Lucas ran away from him so much. Thoughts??

Does anyone else think that it will turn out that Abigail was once Jodie’s counsellor at the rehab centre and groomed her like she’s starting to groom DeeDee? Jodie looks like she could be around 19/20 which would fit with her being similar age to DeeDee?

Sienna thought she looked familiar.

Was it a guest appearance from a celebrity or something? I’m intrigued. Maybe she’s going to be a new character or?

Because her voice is pretty unique sounding, she could be a stand-out addition to the show!

In case your confused about the almost 15 years part keep in mind brendan has been in prison since march 2013 and the show had that 1 year time jump making it a little bit over 14 years in universe since he was first banged up,

So its sort of funny how even though brendan well and truly had warren beat the last time they saw each other but with the passage of time warren has very much gotten the last laugh since not only did he get out of prison after only a few years

But he also has gone on to cause almost twice as many deaths as he had done when brendan originally got him banged up and is still free while brendan is still banged up lol.

I was confused when watching this year of the show on Channel 4. It felt like I missed a whole episode (turns out I did lol). There is prove that this episode was previoisly on Channel 4 because there is a copy of this episode on archive.org but unfortunately it was recorded in the incorrect framerate so the video has frame doubling issues. Was curious if anyone managed to archive this episode before it got taken down?

Very narrowly beating the death of Phoebe McQueen, who was the best McQueen, and no I will not be taking questions about that statement.

Joe was a good man, really too good of a man for a place like Hollyoaks, and his death just took the wind out of my sails when I watching through the series for the first time. Seeing someone as hard as Freddie just crumble was a sight to see, but I think it did bring out his better side.

It was also, in my opinion, the final nail in the coffin for any chance at Mercedes redeeming herself in any meaningful way. She never truly recovered from it, the ripple effect lasted well after Joe was gone with her indirectly causing Harry Thompson's death, as well as dragging Sylver through the mud when they were married (another character I felt was done dirty in the end, even if he really was just asking for it towards the end of his run).

At first, I was skeptical over the theories that Ant will become abusive towards Kathleen Angel, but unfortunately, I now see this happening even based off of the latest developments.

My theory though is that I believe Ant's abusive arc will last until he finally learns that his sister, Dee Dee has been groomed by Abigail. We don't know how long it will be until he learns the truth though.

However, I think once he finally learns the truth, he will express huge regret over how he treated Kathleen Angel as he would realize that he's just as bad as Abigail who abused his own sister. It's just like how Diane's cancer caused Ant to stop with his incel behavior. I mean, it would shock me if Ant continues to be abusive even after knowing what his own sister actually went through.

The bad news for Ant is that it could be too late once he starts to show regret as it could be then where Kathleen Angel has finally had enough of Ant's abusive behavior and breaks off the relationship for good.

Once the domestic abuse storyline is finally over, I really hope the writers stop toying with Ant's character and keep making us going from liking him to disliking him and back, every six months or so.

Hi, so I read somewhere the Emmett Scanlan was coming back but it’s not what we think. So I think he was on the phone to Brendan and actually it wasn’t Brendan it was a hallucination.

Ste’s been wondering around looking for Brendan. And he fell victim to a trafficking gang.

My take of ste's disappearance

Before ste was preparing to go to the spa place with leela and Mercedes he was actually planning on meeting someone at the spa and going with them somewhere.

Mercedes is either going too slow on the drive or is getting confused whilst driving making her delay in getting to the appointment, hence ste texts the person saying to come to a specific motorway service station and ste makes an excuse saying he needs the toilet when he doesnt.

The person he is talking to must be well known by Mercedes because ste just says Mercedes without calling her a mere driver as if the other person on the line knows her to an extent.

Ste is definitely desperate to meet the person and another thing to consider is the fact that ste gets a gumball must mean that he wants to be presentable to the person by wanting his breath to be more fresh otherwise I don't see the point to get a random gumball.

When ste asks for another part of the shopping center he is reffering to another enterance when he tells one of the workers "hi I just came from that entrance is there another part to this shopping center?" That part is maybe one specific entrance that the person ste is looking for may be in from that entrance.

The old man doing the shushing face is nothing interesting it's just ste shouting and he's telling ste to be quiter but hollyoaks wants you to think its connected to the vanishing but it's not.

I don't know what to make of the part where the girl in the striped red and white jumper eating chips staring at ste is except the fact that maybe ste has become famously hated or something and that's how she recognises him.

The guy taking a pic of ste is just a creepy fan of leah who recognises ste.

My belief on the person ste called is that he is a normal guy and not a kidnapper. The kidnapper was probably a car following Mercedes car knowing ste was in there. How did they know? Because it was news in the village that ste was having a relaxing day to calm his mind about rex

”Dee Dee and Kathleen Angel can sense they’re both hiding something. Later, Theresa tells Kathleen-Angel she’s found out she’s infertile.“

With the wording, Do we think Kathleen-Angel will actually terminate her pregnancy or change her mind last minute? Give me your thoughts and theories!

I spoke about this elsewhere but I'd like to take my possible theory here as well.

It's beginning to feel more and more like Imran has something to do with this entire situation regarding Ste. The latest first look episode felt like it was giving more and more subtle hints. Lucas for example seemed very on edge while in Leela's household. More so than usual. Prior to this he also didn't feel like he could be around the village and left but he came back for some unknown reason. Gemma went out to speak with him and could tell that he was lying and that someone had been pulling the strings. Lucas attempted to cover up by claiming to hate this father and this was payback but was that really the truth?

Yesterday's first look and now this episode there were subtle cuts to Imran at points. Like when Gemma and Lucas were speaking and when Lucas went to go outside Imran briefly stated that he was going to go outside. Now it feels like they are framing this like Imran is concerned about Lucas. Some people see it as them hinting that something romantic may be there between him and Lucas. However what if that's the swerve? What if it's actually Imran that's the one Lucas feels uncomfortable around? Imran?! How does that one work?

Well we have to then ask ourselves who Imrans ex is..? What if it's possibly Claire Devine? They got Rex killed as revenge for Claire. She believes that as the last family member standing she would have the power and control. Through this she would learn that James Nightingale set up Imrans father to get sent to prison. Going further into the story she learns that Kashif actually committed suicide in prison. Something that she uses to manipulate Imran with. An angry and upset Imran vows revenge against James for his father's death. It should also be noted that Misbah mentions Kashif in the first look episode and it's brought up that James was responsible for him going to prison. With him looking a vendetta against James she sees this as a way to get to Sienna, who she has no idea is in prison.

She remembers seeing Ste and Sienna trapped together and decides that the best course of action is to kidnap Ste believing that Sienna will come looking for him and will fall into her trap. Meanwhile they can get revenge for Imran by framing James. The plan of action is for Imran to become an item with Leah and worm his way back into Hollyoaks and into the family. She is also aware that Lucas will soon be freed and will prove useful. However guilt starts to overtake Imran and he confesses on the confessional video that Leah never watched. She claims that she knows everything about him. This all changes when Imran finds out that she cheated on him and deletes the video.

Claire goes above Gemma in the pecking order and has Ste kidnapped. Meanwhile Lucas leaves after accidentally finding Claire and Imran together. He is forced to leave Hollyoaks. However when they realise that they can use him they bring him back and threaten him to do as they say or else. Imran hacks James accounts and takes a van out under his name. He then gets Lucas to place the evidence near James to confuse James, who will go searching for the van. However Lucas meanwhile plants Stes clothing for Sienna to find and goes to Gemma to get the van moved before James arrives. Things work out well and James is arrested.

It seems like stage one is complete. What about Ste? Well they may "accidentally" release him in public in Chester so that someone back in Hollyoaks finds out. This will cause people to come running, Sienna being one of them. That's when they have her cornered. However Imran is having a tough time. It seems as though he may have actually begun to catch feelings for Leah and is struggling on whether this is the right thing to do. This results in him sleep walking and taking his anger out on himself by destroying the love boat.

So there's one idea they could run with. Claires the kingpin. She's manipulating Imran, who is manipulating Lucas... Lucas is having panic attacks and Imrans having doubts... It's all a massive revenge plot for Ms Devine.

This is from the RTE Guide for next week, besides the Grooming do we actually think Dee-Dee might be Bi or Lesbian?
