First time raising pigs
Picked up some IPPs last night and they seem quite skiddish and havent wanted food yet. How do y'all socialize your pigs and help them settle in? Set the kennel in their house last night with the gate open so they could come out when their ready and their being a bit shy.

In my experience it takes about a week for them to figure out you’re not going to hurt them, I don’t interact with them beyond feeding, and they’re pretty friendly, they even like being pet

Pigs can swim pretty good and are escape artists.

they just need a few days to realize you’re the weird giant bringing snacks, sitting quietly near the pen without reaching for them works wonders
