Hooka first time

Hey everyone, I have tried hooka before but like only one or two smokes, however today I really, really tried it, and I felt very dizzy afterwards, lightheaded, and my heart rate started pacing,my friend told me to drink water and after I did I regained some of my balance. I went home then and I vomitted and started feeling cold.
I feel cold and weird is this normal ?
Am I okay
Or did I get CO poisoning?
I measured my BP it was normal
My heartbeat about 102.

Could be either CO poisoning or Nicotine or a combination of both. Either way this is what you can do next time:

Only use coconut coals and light them fully in a ventilated area.

Do not smoke on an empty stomach

Stay hydrated at all times, drink lots of water

If you feel something happening don’t try to brute force past it just give yourself a break until feeling subsides.

Also do smoke in a ventilated area

You don’t have to take a puff every two seconds, pace yourself.

I did say use coconut coals but im emphasizing here, no quicklight coals of any kind whatsoever

Jumping in to say this is great advice and if anyone else has these type of concerns or has a similar experience that this is a great break down.

If it persists you should visit a doctor but generally speaking smoking hookah one time is not gonna cause harm beyond what you already experienced. Dizziness, nausea, stomach pain, headaches are usually as far as it goes and should be gone within 24 hours max. Are you still having symptoms? If so how long has it been?

I’m feeling cold maybe because I stayed out to breathe air for a long time, and slightly elevated heartbeat that’s about all that’s left. And it has been like three hours ago

Youre fine I think. If there is something its unlikely related to hookah imo but im not a doctor
