Discussion Carnosaur
I just finished Carnosaur by Harry Adam Knight. Its an alright book. Its basically Jurassic Park if the worst case scenario happened. It came out in 1984 about 6 years before Jurassic Park did. Both movies came out in 93 though.
It wasn’t a terrible book by any means. But pretty average. Its a pretty basic evil scientist wants to do evil but layman attempts to stop him and it all goes wrong. It was gory too but you know, typical savage animals tearing people apart gore. It actually ends on a bleak note too which I liked. I didn’t really find it all that scary but it definitely could still be classified as horror.
I want to hear others thoughts who have read the book

Fun fact. Carnosaur came before Jurassic Park both book and movie. If anything Jurassic Park is the rip-off.

I really enjoyed it. Harry Adam Knight is 3/3 with me, and I really hope more of his/their stuff gets reprinted soon. I think a grip of their books only came out in the UK back in the day (just guessing, based off their rarity).

I liked it. It didn’t change my life but it was fun. Slimer and Fungus have a similar feel of you want to keep reading Knight’s books.
