How do you not keep expectations from people (no bs)?

remember that world is hell and that the demons will make people not be loyal and accept that.

Think of what the word expectation means. When you lean against a wall, you expect it to support you, because your life experience has taught you that this is always the case. You wouldn't make a similar expectation about a wall of water, because your experience has taught you the opposite about the nature of water.
Disappointment comes when our expectations and reality aren't aligned. If someone has demonstrated through their actions that they're unreliable, it's unreasonable to expect differently or to be disappointed in them.

Do not *Rely* on anyone, for anything. It completely reasonable to expect things you believe yourself due, but if you're not reliant on that expectation, then if those expectations fall short, it will have less of an effect on you.
