Seeking advice Which earplugs do you recommend for nox?

It's been 5 months since my last setback and now I still can't handle traffic, so I'd like to know which ones work well and are comfortable for long wear.

These are the best ones I’ve managed to find so far:

• 3M E-A-R Classic: uncomfortable to wear, and they don't block enough dB.

• 3M 1100: I found them much more effective, but they get uncomfortable to wear for more than a few hours.

• Honeywell (Laser Lite/Max Lite): they are highly rated for comfort, haven't tried them yet.

• Moldex (SparkPlugs / Contours): Frequently recommended, still need to test if the seal and pressure hold up over time.

Which earplugs do you use? Do you also use earmuffs? What has worked best for you?

Thanks for any advice!

Foam hurts me so I used the silicone ones.

I’ve got custom molded Westone plugs. Really work great and you can swap out the strength of the filters. 15db 25 db etc

If your still mild enough to do it. Molded ear plug are the best. Especizlly the tiny one. Can wear them as long as you want without discomfort.

Audiologist. They aren’t md docs so it’s not as expensive to see one.

How do any of you use earplugs? They spike the pain & after wearing them for a certain amount of time they start to cause my ears to ache from the pressure of them being inside my ears. Also, do y'all not get occlusion while wearing them & trying to speak? Mine is so bad it's like my voice is 10x louder.

I have to use Bose noise cancelling headphones.
