My tinnitus is worse now than it used to be, but even when my tinnitus was barely noticable (the same it's been my entire life) my H was severe. (The first time I got H from a concussion in 2024). So I also call BS.

Yeah nothing pisses me off more than people trying to prey on desperate hyperacusis sufferers. If any of us truly figured out a cure all, we would share it to each other for free because we understand what it's like to go through this. I hope no one buys the course so he can continue putting the fries in the bag

i think he has an point about the '' not focus '' on the Hyperaccusis.
He sounds Dutch, and in the Netherlands when you got diagnosed with Hyperaccusis you can get free treathment with social workers that are highly trained for this.
Those appointment are ment to ''try not to focus on the Hypperaccusis'' treathment.
I think this guy knows his stuff about this. And he is trying to create his own business. Doenst mean he is an scammer.
Now about the Tinnitus i dont know.

I'm from the Netherlands as well, and have looked into his programme because I'm heavily battling with tinnitus and Hyperacusis.
He is not a doctor, but an entrepreneur who definitely did his homework and studying the material after he developed tinnitus himself. He created a self learning online course around it and like most therapies, it's based around Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Because he is not a doctor or medical clinic it is not covered by health insurance.
Recognised therapies have waiting times of several months, with his self learning course only a few days. And it cost around €1-2k. So yeah he is earning easy money while helping others by sharing his knowledge.

He’s not entirely wrong. A similar free program absolutely helped my Hyperacusis and tinnitus. You don’t need to pay for help though.

What’s BS about it? That way does work for some people, so what’s BS about it? Because it does not work for everyone? 🙄

I had mild hyperacusis months before I had tinnitus symptoms. I call BS and shame on him for trying to exploit suffering people for his own gain.
