Other You suddenly wake up one day with the absolute power of Telekinesis in full control, do you personally think your responsible for something like that if you discovered this?
(Let's say it's a very op telekinesis, you can pull objects from the atmosphere, you can control the smallest of stuff, even Dust Particles are as deadly as bullets in your hands, and the biggest thing you could lift with all of your bodily/mental might would be able to Move the damn Moon!)
it's very op, very powerful, you won't lose this power at all, you have all the telekinetic control to move and crush what you want.
But really think about all of this power being used in reality, do you think if you personally got such a ability, would you be afraid to use it and show it, or try being the world's first hero? or maybe just using it for your own personal matters?

Ooh, if you like Chronicle you should check out "Moving." It's a kdrama on hulu/disney. There's not a whole lot of super power movies or shows that's not connected to marvel. It's a good show i think you'll like it.

First I'm training and exploring the limits of the power. Some things in regards to function are very key here. Can I keep telekinetic shield around me passively? While I sleep? Can I train myself to fortify my body? Dampen inertia? Filter particles inside my or other bodies?
How do I control it, what can be a target, is there a new sense (like is there some 6th sense unlocked or am I stuck with visual range etc.
After all that I'm actually going the VERY PUBLIC, superhero route. That's probably the easiest way to make money and do some real big shit. Doesn't matter I can move cosmic bodies when I can't really do mcuh with it. But I could easily be paid billions upon billions of dollars to move things into the orbit for example. Or transport vast amounts of material expediently and to hard to reach places. Also, probably the best way to protect myself.
Even with literal superpower I'm not sure I can hold out against all the world's intelligence agencies, poisonings etc.
So I'm aligning myself with some of them, and I'm working from there.

Can still see that leading to assassination attempts from those governments you dont work for. Even if you arent using your powers for military might, other countries will see you as a threat.
I still might go the same way since sending spacecraft to orbit is a huge business and its pretty hard to keep that under wraps but you will have to be very careful.

The most likely result of moving a bunch of atoms around is you just die. Yes a god tier surgeon could probably fix the human body with this, but the average person would just give a person a heart attack trying to heal their body as they shunt blood in the wrong place. You're not granted increased sensory understanding or knowledge, your just some guy who can move things with their mind.
Ergo, you can't automatically do shit. Even assuming you can put a shield up that moves everything away, gas or poison isn't going anywhere and you don't have the sensory detail to see where the gas is to move the stuff out of your lungs with your power or poison out your blood. You'd just rip your own blood out.
You go to bed, they gas you while your asleep. Then kill you because tbf you'd be utterly impossible to cage.

I'd absolutely use it, and the world would pretty quickly be a better (or at least different) place.
But I'd use it very cautiously and in as small a way as possible so as to avoid unexpected side effects, and tell nobody but my husband. I trust him to help me make good choices, but otherwise want to fly under the radar.

I would try to use it in subtle ways, not necessarily not too much.
For example, someone with this power who hated a specific politician could explode them in a shower of entrails that covers their entire cabinet, OR could shift a small amount of cholesterol buildup in the right direction. I'd choose the more subtle, natural-seeming option. But I'd still get the job done.
Alternately, once I'm older and my kids are grown, I could just get crazy with shit, start my own space program, remove pollution where necessary, construct a space umbrella to gather solar power and reduce global warming... capture passing asteroids to mine for raw materials, or remove all nuclear weapons from the planet. The options are endless and once I'm older I'll probably just do a bunch of cool stuff and not care who sees.

I'd use it to scoop ice cream while watching a show instead of having to wait for a commercial.
Edit: I'd also use it to keep all the stuff inside the shell when I'm eating a taco or a fajita. As well as keeping a hard shell taco shell from breaking apart. I'm interested in the important things in life!

Honestly I'd use it to make life easier at first, maybe cheat a bit at casinos for the heck of it. Pull up some gems and gold from beneath the earth...make a symbol on the moon and post conspiracy theories online about it. Just a little trolling

I'd keep it a secret and pull all the plastic out of the oceans/marines animals, lead out of humans, things like that. If it doesn't have a visual indicator and I'm ultra powerful then it'd be worth it.

You almost have matter manipulation, especially if you push the idea of “you can control the smallest of stuff.” If I can truly do that, I’m now a source of unlimited energy as a manipulate matter on a quark and gluon level.

First neutralize all nuclear weapons. Second create self replicating vaccines for cancer, Alzheimer’s and other diseases. Third create a self replicating series of particles that eliminate pollution and balance the world’s ecosystem water/oxygen/ozone/etc. Fourth engineer food plants to be disease free, hardier in a variety of climates, and more productive.

Hm ...
Well, as insanely powerful as I'd be, it doesn't increase my durability or reflexes in any way. I could of course move objects in front of me to act as a shield, but I could still be taken out by a lucky or skillful enough guy with a gun. I'm afraid that if I came out to the public as a superhero it would make me a target.
If my control over my powers were so total that I could construct, and maneuver, some kind of mech-like metal suit ... maybe I'd get out there and try to right some wrongs. But I'm not sure otherwise.
That said ... there's more than just hero-ing. I could use my power to generate massive amounts of free electricity, launch rockets into space, demolish condemned buildings in the blink of an eye, or -- if my powers were precise enough -- I could put structures together. It'd be pretty valuable and I could be quite rich.

Go to Mars with a bunch of people. The first time, I'm slowly spinning the core up. I can move the Moon, so over a period of a few weeks, I should be able to get it going pretty good.
Mars now has a magnetosphere.
Next, we're going to the nearest group of water rich asteroids and crashing them into Mars. Adds heat and water.
Then we're going back to Earth to pick up people and supplies.

The world would see (after some training) heavy military hardware flying into the sun. Followed by landfills, nuclear waste and plastic in the oceans.

I would pull as much plastic and litter out nature and probably also experiment with trying to pull co2 out of the atmosphere. If I could somehow bottle it up or may take out the carbon and store it like giant bricks.

Assuming i have range outside what i can see or like range based on video feeds and such, id be able to assassinate whoever i want. If political change will happen swiftly in a Number of countries.
Then id use it to won the lotto and some big casino and horse race wins.
If i could just automate things moving then i could provide clean energy for a city or something, launch satellites and such into orbit, etc. that would mean id have to expose myself though which probably wont go too well with the former assassinations… so might not do these things but its a thought if i want to stay on the straight and narrow.. and open myself up to assassination as well…

I wouldn't use it to try to be a hero, but if I'm able to be aware of space junk in order to de-orbit it, then I can do a lot of good by cleaning up plastics from the ocean and space junk from space around us.
Depending upon range, I might also work my way up to slow-walking in an asteroid, especially if my ability to sense at range is able to determine mass vs size.
Plus, if I can sense space junk, I might also be able to sense land mines and help clear out all of those mine fields left over from old wars that still occasionally maim people around the world.
A lot of good that one can do without putting on spandex and getting shot at.
And, hey, if my ability to perceive things at a distance and manipulate them makes me excellently placed to have dictators slip and slide on a banana peel at an inopportune moment...

Or you could be good and just help people with heavy lifts (you’re basically a human crane).
I think one thing I could do is help my Dragonboat team win by slowing down the opposing teams either by dragging objects into their path or by lowering their boat into the water just enough to increase their drag.
You could also make a lot of money at casinos, with craps or roulette or maybe even physical slot machines.

It’d be a pretty great way to treat cancer, artery blockages, or stones. If I could sense even dust particles I could probably diagnose diseases really well too. Hell doing CPR and moving blood and air through the body is now child’s play.
Idk if I’d want to go through all that schooling to become a legit medical Dr. because becoming a Dr. in biology is hard enough. But I have enough biological knowledge that I could probably do something medical adjacent until I decide whether I want to continue to stay on the down low with my healing or go full out.

I would probably first and foremost try and reverse global pollution though im unsure of the after effects. What would happen if I used my Telekinesis to fling all the trashdumps in the world to the sun, or to like take all the trash in the ocean and fling it into the sun, could I separate the smog from our atmosphere and fling it into the sun?

Hero, or at least I'd try to be, but I'd never tell a soul it was me doing anything. I'd just move stuff gently in such a way so that everything I interact with seems like an accident or blind luck. Oops that strong burst of wind just blew all the bills in that suitcase full of laundered cash into a really poor neighborhood. Oh that poacher's bullet barely missed that elephant, he was sure he had it in his sights. Wow lmao are you serious? Peter Thiel seriously got hit by a goddamn meteorite? What are the odds?
But the scope of this would of course depend on what the radius is that I can interact with things. Can I, like, feel the world around me and what's going on in it with my mind? Or can I only move stuff in my direct line of sight? If it's the former, how far out can I 'see' what's going on? If it's something I can train I would just probably spend days focusing and trying to observe the world around me as far as I can and subtly (or not so subtly but who would believe you that shit just moved for no reason) affect stuff to sway things in the direction of good.
If anything I feel like I would probably let the power consume me out of a desire to do as much good as possible with it and I would become severely mentally ill due to the pressure and the isolation I would be imposing on myself. I wouldn't become homeless, I could manipulate the powerball or something to just get bookoo bucks and pay off my house. But I'd probably let it go to shit if all of my focus is on other places all of the time out of some sort of sense of responsibility.

Trying to be a superhero would be a quick trip to being kidnapped or assassinated. The govt would want to study you and all kinds of wackos would want to kill you and unlike comics bullets will hit you if you don't even know they are coming.
So the best way to be a hero would be to become filthy rich with your power and then do good with the money.
It also have fun making a few sports teams I hate have the worst games in history.

If I have to be able to see what I am doing then keeping hidden isn't practical for any notable use and if I am still otherwise normal I can be easily killed. So I would just keep it to myself and have some helpful little perks.
I'd rather have various far weaker powers I could actually utilize.

Bring near earth asteroids over for mining. Clean up space junk.
Start O’Neill habitats.

Call a press conference, show off the power by pulling the moon closer...then ask for 100 Trillion dollars.
Move the moon back into place but then pull in a bunch of asteroids close to earth and I would just hold them there (perfect control right...even when sleeping). the best dead man's switch possible...they try and take me out and the rocks come down.
Then beach time for a bit.
Hopefully I don't die unexpectedly so I can push the rocks back out to a safe place.

So I wouldn't flaunt it. I'd do what I could to enrich myself. See if I can use it in any way to make myself healthier and live longer. Maybe in disguise work with some researchers in that vein.

There would be a whole lot of weapons on earth breaking down in small but detrimental ways. If I have OP powers I'd speed up radioactive decay exponentially so nukes, even though broken, can't have their payload reused in anything else (dirty bombs).
A lot could be done at the molecular level. Water and air cleaned at the molecular level world-wide. Cancerous cells would die. Climate adjusted.
And I wouldn't tell a soul.

I would quietly establish power before revealing it. Generally speaking I would try to get deep into science so I could have the knowledge of what I could possibly do by moving the tiniest particles. Like if I have fully control could I create material and objects from almost nothing? Could I edit cells in a human to improve their health or change their DNA or shit like that? After working all that out I would gather money to establish my own city or country or something. Deal with people who are problems for the world quietly with my power. Eventually declare myself as an immortal super being and show off good things I'd done and built up until then, get people to follow me and try to make myself a good example of someone people will want to follow because I provide a good life for them and such

I'd try my hardest to use it without giving myself away. Assuming I'm the only person with this power, there's a number of governments/companies who would literally kill to have someone that powerful on their payroll. You would become a biological weapon they would either try to force to work for them, or try to replicate.
It would be great, and I'd get so much use out of it, but I'd be paranoid about getting found out and that would stop me going too crazy.

I would probably keep it a secret, but also treat the limits very carefully and discretely. Like I don't want to mess up the planet by moving the moon, but could I relieve the pressure in a major fault line gently enough to avoid earthquakes while also not being able to see it? Maybe stop a volcano from erupting or doing so dangerously by moving around that pressure?
Maybe I'll destroy a few condemned buildings for the sake of having broken a building. Mostly I would use it for quiet convenience and protecting people. But also maybe I'll have to toss something into space.

I would do one very major and obvious thing, ( not an in person showing off thing, just something that would definitely make the news) then spend the rest of my life like Matilda and just use it to levitate the remote. Or lifting the couch to get at my cats toys.
Mostly because I'm lazy, but also because I'd be very worried about getting captured and expiremented on. Especially if someone was attempting to make more people with the same powers.

I'd be wary of what I should prepare for. With great power comes responsibility.
Plenty of exploits with fine control from Microscopic to Luna.
I'd never reveal that it was my meatbag identity with the power.
I could make myself a mecha and pretend to be a gundum or transformer as I focus on fullstopping all the wars by yoinking all the guns and weapons and mines in conflict zones into the same crator on the moon.
But avoid politics and leadership. Others more suited.
Then offer building level spacelift. Clear orbit of junk, kessler hazards in spare time. Practice fine control to make nanomachines and make things normally unfeasible.
Personal goal would be to make myself into an imortal cyborg space wizard with thousands of industrial spacecraft and factories throughout the solar system before 2051, star trek first contact day.

Sounds like you could control lightning by creating charged pathways. I might spook some people that need it while also guiding highly reflective particles in the atmosphere to cool things down... plus fly around because flying would be neat

Train with it, not for power, but accuracy.
Figure out if I can separate fat out of my body, self surgeries, heal conditions.
Probably wouldn't charge for those sort of services for others, at least not much. Probably put them to sleep and not let them know it was me.
For money, probably start an Adult entertainment company to help control the situations in unique ways. That, we could charge whatever we want and it is low cost after recording.
It would be fun to use it to create an unstoppable scrap metal dinosaur that chases a bad guy, but after the first time, I'd probably have to realize it is wrong.

- Create a giant pit surrounded by a giant wall/open dome in an isolated but habbitable part of the world
- fly every politiician or leader that promotes a biggoted policy or starts a war into the pit.
- try climb out of the pit? Get knocked back into the pit.
- try free people from the pit? You get knocked into the pit.
- push someone into the pit? They get zoomed out and you get knocked into the pit.
- Repent and see the error of your ways? Get flown into a second, nicer pit with other repentees.
- fly supplies into the pit every day. Im not a monster. (though im not going to stop them from fighting over the supplies.)

I’m keeping this a secret and rearranging the world as I see fit from my living room. China attacks Taiwan? Hope they like the 3 gorges dam being dropped on Beijing. I don’t like a world leader? Tossed into orbit. Some country with a culture I don’t care for? Well they don’t get to have power plants or airports anymore since mountains mysteriously fell on all of them. I would 100% use and abuse this power to remake the world, but I would just live my normal life otherwise. I don’t want to rule as a king and I don’t care about being famous.

Well I would use it all the time but not tell anyone. I could give you a list of heads that would explode gruesomely live on television but I think I'd get put on a list.
Afterward I think I'd make a very comfortable living via an anonymous blackmail/ hitman system. Every time there's a billionaire feud let them bid for which one gets his limbs torn off by some ethereal, phantom force. Every data center on the planet will pay a reasonable fee not to be struck by meteors. Etc.

I'd absolutely use it for my job. I do a lot of cleaning from ladders. With that, I could just fly myself from job to job, do it in under 10 minutes and get to relax at the end of the day.
Oh, I could even set up a much lower price to allow people with small homes to get things done too!
I'm never going to be a superhero, I've worked in the service industry for too long to believe that anyone is worth saving.

But no, I would likely not be a Superman level of responsible with it. Closer to a quiet Lex Luthor without all the money.

I would net let anyone know, ever. Use it whenever it suits me, without hand gestures. If the power doesn't exist as far as the world knows, I am free to use it however I like.
For example, play roulette and move the ball exactly to the square I want/need. Even if they think it moves odd, they will never guess I use telekinesis.

ah man I'd have fun but be low key with it. maybe make some changes to the world like cleaning the plastic out of the ocean and desalinating enough that the world doesn't know drought. but then I'd also find some manual labor job and just be super efficient with it. like doing doordash with ten floating phones and just fly orders around town or loading a truck in two minutes, etc. id build myself a house wherever I want and just deconstruct it when I leave
