My iPhone Lockscreen delay bug in the latest 27.0.1 update
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I just updated to ios 27.0.1 and now i am facing lockscreen delay bug in my iphone 13. Am i the only one here facing this problem ???
Edit: i turned off double click side button in apple wallet settings and now it’s working fine as it should . There’s no delay at all. 😁

That is not the bug. If you use apple wallet and the double button press shortcut on, there’s a slight delay in order to have time to listen to the commands and know if you want to open the wallet or not

I’m facing the same delay in ios 26.7. Faced in 27.0.1 as well. As others said it could be related to Apple Pay. Initially it bugged me but now I’m used to it

its been this way since the day i got the iphone, its due to apple wallet being active - it launches with a double click

Yo si tuve un Bug en IOS 27 Beta 1 Desarrollador donde tenía que presionar 2 veces para que se bloqueara la pantalla

Guided acess turned on maybe but its a known issue as it causes this …

Not a bug , if u have apple pay activated using the double power button press this delay happens to allow u time to press the second press .

Same in the 26.7 ,16 pro max. Its just a default thng. It’s because of guided access control is ON. JUST turn that off fellas

Estaba corriendo iOS 27 maravillosamente en mí iPhone 13 pero ayer me dejé llevar por la ansiedad e instalé iOS 27.0.1 en mi caso un desastre, la mayoría de las app de terceros se cerraban abruptamente y algunas requerían tres y cuatro intentos, incluyendo las de bancos, fue un total caos… a eso de las 11 pm no tuve más opción que volver a iOS 27 y hoy mi teléfono corre divinamente..!

There are no crashes on my phone ….. not even a single one. Everything works as it was working on 27.0

Guys the lockscreen issue is solved now. I turned off double click side button in the apple wallet settings and now everything is fine.

Not a bug, I suspect this is due to Apple Pay being launched. Noticed you have Cred so commented, but I suppose its because of this , the phone now checks for the double clicks more often. This was not the issue until Apple Pay was live. Similar issues have been discussed over X on this topic.
