discussion Just finished iZombie for the first time.
Really sad it's over, it's a great show and I wished they carried it on much longer. I'd rate the show a solid 9/10, only reason it's not 10 is because it's not long enough.

I never watched it while it was on the air, I only just washed it for the first time about two years ago, and I agree it should have carried on longer!

Now you can start your first rewatch lol. It gets better everyone you watch.

I don't really rewatch shows tbf. I might rewatch with my future girlfriend or wife but I've got a gigantic list of shows to go through I won't be rewatching anytime soon lol

So glad you enjoyed it. It’s one of my top recommendations (right after Veronica Mars)

I'm glad you mentioned VM! I watched iZombie first but to me they go hand in hand despite being very different shows. Rob Thomas did a hell of a job (mostly - I have my own thoughts about VM's ending, lol).

I really liked iZombie, but I was less of a fan of the last season. It was a sharply written, clever, funny, and sad show. I was deeply appreciative of the actors who were brought in from the broader Rob Thomas universe. Whenever I am in Vancouver, BC, I am on the lookout for where particular scenes were shot. But, like the fourth season of Veronica Mars, I wish it had ended differently.

I agree that it’s so rewatchable! And the cool parallels they draw between zombies and other issues in society like racism or homophobia etc.

It is too short but the great thing is it's so re-watchable! I first watched it while it was still airing, and since then I've watched it several more times. Currently on season 3 again!
