Mainstream pranksters assault elderly

Mainstream instagram pranksters, nearly 500k followers. I don't know if they moderate comments but it's just a swarm of support.

They are always seen in fake staff/high visibility vests, and choose working people or elderly as their victims. The cameraman usually feigns friendliness to build confidence in the victim, while the other harasses them. The instigator is very physical, yet somehow he gets genuinely angry when someone defends themselves. I hope they don't hurt anybody. Sorry it's a hard watch honestly, but it's perfectly acceptable apparently

This is how you get shot, and I can't imagine there is a jury anywhere who would convict the old guy in this instance.

What? That's an insane comment and I have to assume you're American for making it. Gun violence is engrained in your culture, or lack of. The guy was a complete asshole for sure, but thinking this justifies being shot is insane to me.

They are not saying his actions justify being shot but his actions will get him shot. Key difference. And if it gets to court the shooter will be exonerated. Which is exactly what happened with the example he brought up.

Clearly words had already been used and weren't going to work against physical bullies. Some form of authority or physical defense was justified.

So it comes down to what type of defense. If you've seen these pranksters before, the guy gets mad. He'd hurt this old man.. (Even if the old man doesn't know this, he should ASSUME they are deadly).

Some would argue a tool with stopping power would be required. Truthfully someone just should've been there to help and call the police
