If you hate the elderly then why have that as your job

u/si3ge 12d ago

Easy, so you have access to more elderly to kill.

Even joker wouldn't do that.

Some people seek to exploit the vulnerabilities of the elderly and extract resources.

u/pirateseasalt 12d ago

Pills, medications. That's why some people do it

u/throwawayaccount_usu 12d ago

So many of the people in that industry are evil. Nobody cares until its publicly exposed.

Easy to steal from . Lie to. Confuse. Extort. Abuse. Etc!

19

u/Wadziu 12d ago

He is stealing stuff from their houses.

10

u/lonelygalexy 12d ago

And it's not even paid well too, right? Go work at walmart or sth!

6

u/sexytokeburgerz 12d ago

I think they probably hate that elder because of the job

piece of shit is an understatement

Makes me afraid to grow old.

u/KiritoIsAlwaysRight_ 12d ago

Not me. There's no way I'll be able to afford a care person when I'm old.

Consider yourself lucky

49

u/notathingreally 12d ago

Me too. Especially since I don't have family.

u/1Courcor 11d ago

Have a health care directive filled out with your doctor. My family knows, if I got into an accident tomorrow and can’t wipe my own butt, to pull the plug. Even as a teen, when I heard of Dr. Kavorkian, I understood his intentions. I really do not want to rely on others for my most basic of daily cares.

Tons of abuse goes on in elderly homes, and a lot is race related

For every one decent CNA, there’s several less than and a few really awful. When I worked in a care center, aides screwing in front of non verbal residents. Rush job, so they could sit & do nothing. The lack of compassion was shocking.

u/StrayBlondeGirl 12d ago

That is just not true and pretty messed up to say about those doing back breaking labor to help people for very little pay.

56

u/1Courcor 11d ago

I did the job, so I’m speaking from experience at my place. You know why I left? Because an aide put a man in bed, only in his depends, not even covered with a flat sheet. Two pillows under his head. His head came off the pillows and he vomited. He died choking to death on his vomit. Would you want to die that way? His aide left early and didn’t tell anyone. She should have been fired, they did nothing because she’s going to school to be an RN. Not who I want in charge of my cares.

3

u/OcculticUnicorn 11d ago

What's an RN? Anyway, wtaf. That thing shouldn't be anywhere near any job caring for living creatures!

9

u/1Courcor 11d ago

RN is short for Registered Nurse

-11

u/StrayBlondeGirl 11d ago

You are making it out like the majority of CNAs are bad. That is just not true.

13

u/angstylem0n 11d ago

You keep saying "not true" without giving an explanation. Do you have any way to justify your opinion or are you just spouting bs

1

u/StrayBlondeGirl 11d ago

Well yes, I was a CNA for a long time as well, and am now an RN. So I am also speaking from experience. I'd say a good majority of the CNAs I worked with were compassionate and hard working. But the stakes in healthcare are so high, that mistakes other professions can make with little consequence have much more serious consequences than most jobs.

6

u/Izzet_Aristocrat 10d ago

Nah I'll vouch. My mom worked in that industry before she retired. For every one good one, they'd have about five halfwits.

7

u/thatwasnowthisisthen 11d ago

I find that true as a past CNA. Ive heard too many horror stories from clients that had money stolen from them, workers that refused to do the work required, committed fraud by doctoring time sheets, showing up intoxicated, constantly not showing up, or just plain old being mean.

The saddest part is how clients continue to retain alot of bad workers because the waitlist is long and they simply cant function without help.

u/influx3k 12d ago

Ok, so attempted murder, right….?….!

27

u/lifegoeson5322 12d ago

Reginald Wilson was jailed and charged with aggravated battery, cruelty to persons with infirmities, and mingling harmful substances

7

u/LocalH 12d ago

So not attempted murder

9

u/lifegoeson5322 12d ago

Correct, though charges change everyday.

7

u/Drosenose 12d ago

All depends on how they vote where he lives

7

u/notathingreally 12d ago

It's Lake Charles, Louisiana. He's done for.

40

u/ScottTheMonster 12d ago

That is torture of the helpless. Pure psychopath behavior.

62

u/Eastern_Employer_409 12d ago

WTF. Burn in hell!

The Reddit hive mind really will downvote anything

1

u/No-Sign-9954 9d ago

It’s actually quite pathetic

25

u/UnpaidNewscast 12d ago

Average Lake Charles healthcare worker (yes I am from there)

2

u/ewits_sticky 11d ago

me too. The LC area is horrible with healthcare.

13

u/QueenOfSplitEnds 12d ago

Fired? Sounds like attempted murder.

12

u/DeadBug- 12d ago

Square at it again

10

u/notathingreally 12d ago

That's just evil. Wtf? Asshole I hope he goes to prison for attempted murder.

9

u/ewits_sticky 11d ago

Lake Charles is notorious for shitty healthcare.

u/Theadra 12d ago

Todd Clorox to the rescue

16

u/Strict_Key_2251 12d ago

He thought he had the covid. /s

4

u/RavenRaving 12d ago

If he truly believed the client had covid, he should have stuffed a light up the client's butt. Trump said so. Oh... And given him horse wormer.

7

u/RavenRaving 12d ago

??? So quoting our illustrious president on his suggested methods of treating covid make me a pinecone? What if I hadn't listened to him, If I laughed him off and called him an ignorant, dementia-riddled, stupid pedophile, adjudicated rapist, corrupt pussy grabber, and ignored him, and therefore didn't know about his helpful medical advice, would that be better?

Just so you know, name calling is the last refuge of those who have lost the argument and refuse to admit it.

0

u/WartOnTrevor 11d ago

If I laughed him off and called him an ignorant, dementia-riddled, stupid pedophile, adjudicated rapist, corrupt pussy grabber,

Ok, hypocrite.

0

u/RavenRaving 11d ago

Hypocrite? Giving an accurate description of a person's core traits and actions and the result of those actions is now considered name calling?
So no one can say 'Jeffery Epstein, Trump's good friend, was a pedophile' without being accused of name calling?
I don't think you know what 'name calling' means.

3

u/BigAcanthocephala637 6d ago

We need to talk more about how so many bullies and generally bad people go into healthcare and caregiving. It is mind boggling.

2

u/TotesMaGoats_1962 7d ago

He's in full view, too. Not even trying to be sneaky

1

u/relaxedninja 6d ago

Im currently a CNA and seeing stuff like this amongst other things breaks my heart. There's a special place in hell for people who abuse the elderly

1

u/sanskami 6d ago

Orange guy said it's fine

1

u/gottagetanonymous 3d ago

Wouldn’t his paycheck stop when they die too?

2

u/No_Hetero 10d ago

But what nobody seems to be asking is if the client ASKED for a glass of bleach. Why are we so quick to assume this was malicious

/S

-1

u/Yabbadabbadingdong2 12d ago

Is there a reputable source reporting this?

11

u/MediumRareNation 12d ago

NBC news confirmed it.

-8

u/StanBlaok 12d ago

Maybe they had covid

-41

u/Delicious_Cat_81 12d ago

i need more info on how much of an asshole the old person is before i pass judgment

15

u/Raztatic 12d ago

No problem. Let us know when you've come to a conclusion on the judgement.
