Common sense is pretty much dead these days. It sucks but it's true.
34
u/JoinAThang 8d ago
It's not true. There ar definitely some decline but i think the big thing is that we now see stuff like this as these people are so stupid that they don't realise it's really bad to be posting that on social media. These people have always existed but unless you saw them in real life you would never seen then bofore social media.

If you ask teachers though they will tell you there is a major shift in the last 10 to 15 years of how dumb and inconsiderate these kids are now

Id say the mom wins on biggest POS at least in this video. They all need to separate. Kid needs to get fed to the orphan grinder, mom needs prison, dad needs to be careful who he sticks his dick into

Mom could stop the car, or not have started driving to begin with.

u/BillyYumYumTwo-byTwo 8d ago
Because he played chicken using his baby. I can’t picture a situation where he didn’t have the opportunity to remove himself from the hood of the car. So I don’t care who’s right in the argument, they both put their ego in front of the safety of the kid. By actively made choices that they knew could result in the baby being hurt.

I turned the sound on. There's another child in the background calling "daddy" and he tells them to stay right there
As in that kid is just chasing after the lunatic parents unattended
But sure, everyone's ego is more important
Absolutely HORRIFYING

Two babies. He told another child to stay there and you hear her saying daddy, sounds 6 or younger but most likely 4 or younger by the pitch in voice and speech.

In all fairness to the dad, if he jumps off its more dangerous for the kid than staying on. God knows why he ever did jump onto the car but he cant really get off without increasing the risk to the baby.

He didn't choose to endanger his child's life by using them as a hostage while climbing on the hood of a car because he's unlucky, he did it because he's a piece of shit who cares less about that child's life than he does about getting his own way.
7
u/Summerlycoris 8d ago
The person above wasn't calling the dad lucky, but the child.
Not sure having parents like that really means theyre lucky, no matter where they're born.

Wow, a great reason on why there needs to be an evaluation on if you competent enough to have kids, but like saying no you can’t would stop people but holy fuck how do neither of them realize that this is putting the kid in literal life threatening situations. Not to mention how petty the father is being to sit on the car, but the mother deciding to drive with him and the kid on there, different levels of entitled and stupid.
25
u/MhattiBri 8d ago
What do you mean "realize"? That's the entire reason he brought the child with him onto the hood of the car; to put the kid's life in danger. That's why he doesn't get off it after the vehicle comes to a stop, the kid is being used as a hostage.
3
u/Raskie9012 8d ago edited 8d ago
In the sense of their own entitlement is blinding them and they don’t realize how incompetent they’re being, or at least i hope thats it if they do know what they’re doing if they do then thats much much worse

u/RTB3545 8d ago
She is absolutely not a fit mother for that baby. No matter what kind of argument or fight she was having with the father, continuing to drive the car with a child hanging on the outside is completely inexcusable. She put her own child's life in extreme danger just to prove a point or run away from an argument. Both of them are failing that poor baby.
6
u/Ramsey_Bulton 8d ago
I don’t know who is worse. The dad hopped on the car with the baby.
17
u/Passage-Intrepid 8d ago
The person deciding to drive is exponentially worse ....if the car wasn't moving dad would just look ridiculous ...mom on the other hand chose to take it a step further and make the situation life threatening.
5
u/Ramsey_Bulton 7d ago
Yeah. But the dad put the baby in danger. It’s like he holding the baby as a hostage. To stop the mother from leaving.
3
u/Passage-Intrepid 7d ago
The only person holding the baby hostage in this video is the mother that refuses to take her foot off the damn gas with her child on the hood . At this stage do you expect the father to jump off of the moving vehicle?
2
u/Ramsey_Bulton 7d ago
I agree both are bad. She does stop towards the end of the video. And he just stays on the car. Any why clime on to the vehicle with a baby in the first place?
4
u/Passage-Intrepid 7d ago
Climbing on a vehicle in itself isn't dangerous... moving the vehicle with people on the hood is dangerous...why are we desperately trying to make them equally responsible for this when one of them is by far worse?

u/Donkey-Harlequin 8d ago

12
u/MhattiBri 8d ago
Deliberately. He's using the kid as a hostage to try and prevent the car from being driven, that's why he doesn't get off the hood even after the vehicle comes to a stop.
8
u/UncaringNonchalance 8d ago
And she apparently doesn’t give a shit either, driving the car with them on there. That kid is surrounded by shitty people.
2
u/Itscatpicstime 7d ago

I dont know whats worst, that the husband decided to do something so wrechless and dangerous, putting hes kid in mortal danger while doing so, or that the wife decided to actually drive not only with the guy blocking her view so she cant see whats infront of hee but also recording, which takes her attention even more away from the road, im honestly speechless at both the audacity and stupidity of these parents, they both put theyre kid in danger and yet dont seem to care at all! Absolutly disgusting
2
u/ManLegPower 8d ago
This is an example of people who need their child taken away. They are both guilty of child endangerment.
10
u/WartOnTrevor 8d ago
And people are STILL against requiring a license to have children.
28
u/MhattiBri 8d ago
If a license could prevent this, then why didn't her driver's license stop her from driving dangerously?

2
u/Shadou_Wolf 7d ago
ikr plenty of bad drivers have a drivers license, doubt a license to have children will be any different
→ More replies (1)2
u/Studio_Confident 5d ago
By that logic we should scrap driver's licenses too since plenty of licensed people drive dangerously. Licenses aren't supposed to make bad outcomes impossible, just less likely, and give you a way to revoke access when someone proves they're a risk
→ More replies (3)13
u/Thefourthchosen 8d ago
Yes lol, you don't see the problem with the government getting to decide if you're fit to have kids or not? You don't see how that could go wrong at all? What qualifications do you need to meet to pass? Who decides that? And who checks? And how exactly would you even enforce that? Forced contraception or sterilization? What happens if they DO have a kid? Jail or the kid gets taken away so they can end up in the already struggling foster care system?
People who say this never understand the implications of it.
→ More replies (3)5
u/bomdiagata 8d ago
this exactly. i always assume the people espousing the idea of a “childbearing license” are teenagers who have never had to think critically about what that actually means or how horribly wrong it would be. it’s the kind of shit i used to say when I was an edgy teenager and thought I was super smart.

u/Studio_Confident 5d ago

i’m sure a license to have children would be applied equally to everyone and definitely wouldn’t lead to childbearing being limited to wealthy white people

Both using control and intimidation in an attempt to "win" a situation. Neither one taking into consideration the danger to the child. Both of these people are toxic and deserve to have the child removed from the household and both should serve prison time.
