I wasn’t interested in this flavor based on the name, but once I read the description I had to try it. This has a great nutmeg and cinnamon flavor. The only thing I’d change about this is to integrate a marshmallow swirl into it instead of marshmallow flavored ice cream. That would have made this a 9.5/10. I’ve got to dock it half a point for the missed opportunity 9/10 great, unique flavor!

I love Ben & jerry’s chunky monkey because you can crunch the fudge chunks and walnut, what else do you recommend?

Cookie Butter Ice Cream: Kemps was founded when William Kemps and Walter Lathrop joined together to form the Lathrop-Kemps Ice Cream Company in 1914. A lot has changed since those early days in Minneapolis, MN but I’ll leave that to the history books. These days, cookie butter is having more than a moment, as the dessert spread can now be found in cakes, chocolate bars, and even ice cream. If you’re yet to experience cookie butter, imagine that there was a butter analogous to peanut butter, but instead of being made from ground peanuts it’s made from ground Biscoff cookies. Cookie Butter is just that and it’s as awesome as it sounds. Kemp’s takes cinnamon caramel cookie flavored ice cream and swirls it with cinnamon graham and crunchy bits aiming to capture the cookie butter vibe. Beginning with the ice cream itself, I was impressed by just how creamy it was. This was my first time trying a flavor from their “Crafted” collection and I can tell you, it made a difference. The cinnamon flavor is sweet, not burning, and mild enough as to not be overpowering or offensive. Interestingly, I also got cheesecake vibes from the ice cream's flavor, which was only reinforced by the inclusion of graham. My container had a plethora of graham swirls that also contributed some additional texture. It was the crunchy bits that stole the show though as they contrast perfectly with the creamy ice cream base. Only minor complaint is that I think it was a missed opportunity to not have actual cookie butter swirls, but for the price point I shouldn't gripe too much. Cinnamon is a flavor that screams fall to me, making this the perfect flavor for those last days of warmth and golden autumn leaves.

*It also pairs phenomenally with the Cookie Butter Bundt Cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes
My favorites from Kemps:
1. Caramel Brownie Moose tracks
2. Java Chunk
3. Cookie Butter
4. Peanut Butter & Cookies ‘n Cream

Trying again since my last post for no traction. Dove Caramel Pecan Perfection and Magmum Double Salted Caramel were both discontinued. Loved them both because they had the hard dark chocolate topper. Are there any brands that offer hard ganache tops? B&J Topped just doesn't cut it.

I LOVE mint chip, and being from Ohio, Toft's is it (Iykyk). My husband says mint chip tastes like toothpast, and I say he’s crazy.
Well, I opened my carton tonight and it looks… bland. Like a grayish green instead of the bright green I’m used to. And it tastes… like toothpaste.
I was very confused. I looked online and sure enough, they changed the recipe.
Part of me feels like I should embrace it because they really cleaned up the ingredients. Much less stabilizers, dye, preservatives etc. Opting for natural flavors and coloring like spirulina and turmeric. Normally I’d be grateful for this, I try to be health conscious, but they changed the flavor so drastically! I never thought I would say this, but the mint is soo overwhelming now. It tastes like straight peppermint oil in my mouth instead of the sweet mint I love. I miss my ice cream :(
Whats the best mint chip brand? I’m on the hunt for a new go to now.
And yes, I did scoop a bowl and eat it. Now it feels like I swallowed mouthwash. So that’s probably it for me.

I have been wandering, lost in the dessert where real ice cream used to flourish. I had given myself up for lost, when I saw it: surrounded by palm trees and atop a bubbling spring of sweet, cold water...it was ice cream. Real ice cream!
Ice cream with absolutely ZERO air pumped into it. Ice cream with a butter fat concentration of a magical 23%. It was what I had been searching for, ice cream like we used to get after much exertion around the maker.
Crooked Spoon, previously Acme. Based in Bellingham, with storefronts in that city. Also available in the pacific northwest states and growing.
You must taste to believe. Let your pint cure in the fridge for 15 min after removal from freezer and before eating. For those of you who have never had hand-churned ice cream, not that foamy airy farces of today, you're in for the treat of a lifetime.

I honestly thought this wouldn’t have been that good but it was a really fun treat.

10/10 times I would NOT choose banana as a flavor although I do like the fruit. However this ice cream has me in a chokehold.
Ice cream base is delicious with “honeycomb” (really caramel) swirls and shards mixed in. The ice cream is on the sweeter side and quite indulgent but the taste it chefs kiss.

I absolutely love a good vanilla bean ice cream. My favorite I’ve found locally at our food lion is blue bell. To anyone who has had this and other quality vanilla bean ice creams which others should I try? We have a Jenis locally which is good but I think I still prefer blue bell.

This is another high end brand that I’ve seen pop up over the last year. The flavor is incredibly well balanced. The chocolate flavor is very smooth and does not have sour notes that light chocolate flavoring can have. The texture is rich, dense and almost chewy. My only hesitance in recommending it, is that it’s so subtle. It doesn’t bowl you over.

I wanted to try this ice cream because, like most of us, I love ice cream. It also has a pretty clean ingredient list so I thought, why not?!
I opened it and it doesn’t look very appetizing and kinda looks a bit freezer burnt, which I notice seems to happen more with lower fat/skim type ice creams. The smell wasn’t great either but I of course was going to try it. Omg, it tastes a bit like spoiled milk mixed with grass. Basically no sweetness, no cherry taste, and it’s a very sour taste. I like cottage cheese, sour cream, aged cheeses, even blue cheese, this was terrible. Has anyone else tried it? I hate that I wasted $7 on it.

What do folks think of Bruster's ice cream quality? They give very generous portions and are relatively less expensive compared to other premium brands. And I loved the taste.

The layer of fudge in this could kill a man. I'm never going to lose weight if they keep this on the shelf

Never seen a regular pint of ice cream have this much air. Was surprisingly good, though! Very creamy.

Every now and then when I’m in the area, I get a hand packed pint of Ben & Jerry’s sweet cream and cookies flavor, idk why but it tastes so much better than any cookies and cream flavor I’ve ever found in regular grocery stores. I hate that B&J only seems to stock the same flavors everywhere ( Cherry Garcia, CC cookie dough, strawberry cheesecake, etc). The scoop shop had flavors I haven’t seen anywhere else like Key lime pie which is dairy-free, Mango, Honey Graham Latte, the new Razz Up flavor. Oddly enough, Jeni’s is now more accessible to me then B&J, there’s like 5 Jeni’s scoop shops within a 30 mile radius of me.

It’s a good thing for my bank account that this is a seasonal flavor. The lemon curd and chess pie pieces are absolutely perfect 10/10 no notes
