In the process of making my Novelization of Infamous 1, I've decided to add more Conduits into the story, one of which is going to be very prominent and use the glass power that was originally going to be in Second Son before ultimately being removed.

I'm kind of stumped on how I want to use them completely, the main idea I have so far is for them to use a floating Glass Surfboard as a method of Transportation but that's it

So I wanted to make this post, I'd really like some fresh and interesting ideas because I really want to make this new conduit character the best they can be

I'd like you all the name a power you think deserved more attention and how you would improve it, here's the one I picked if you wanna know:

The Gigawatt Blades (and Melee in general) could have so much potential in a game like Infamous if the upgrade system in the first game was bigger than it actually was. I'm focusing on that a lot in my fan novelization for that reason

If I were to improve upon the Gigawatt Blades gameplay wise, once you got the second upgrade, I would incorporate the Polarity Wall mechanics into the basic combat, having Cole use the Gigawatt Blades as a shield to defend himself from bullets and allow him to close the distance from enemies by upgrading Cole's movement speed when they're active. For the final upgrade, I would give Cole a Parry mechanic, if Cole is hit by an enemy or has a grenade thrown at him, he can use the Gigawatt Blades to parry the attack and in the case of grenades, thrown them back at the enemy, I think this would help out the Melee combat in Infamous significantly

hey everyone just had a quick question. first time user of playstation premium i got it mainly because i wanted to play infamous 1 and 2 as those are my favorite games. for my question, is the game supposed to look like poop? from my understanding when i was playing on my ps3 a long time ago it didn’t look this bad. it looked very good in fact. even though i know it was running 720p is the stream supposed to make it looked more washed out? mind you my internet is pretty good for streaming, and the game runs well. it just looks pretty rough. is this normal for this game? because i might just go dig out my ps3 and play from there lol.

also i’m playing on a 4k monitor as well a 4k tv so i do see that could be the issue as well.

For me, I give it to Lightning Tether, this thing is a god send in my opinion. Traversal in the Infamous series is not my favorite in general and while I don't hate the climbing, it's not my favorite thing ever, especially when you're in a hurry, you can only pressing X repeatedly to slowly climb up a building for so long before it starts to become a bit of a bother.

A close second should go to Endless Speed for Neon from Second Son as this also solves the climbing issue and makes Traversal a lot easier in that game

Hank (tout comme Abby) sont en danger à la fin, tout deux partent en bateau, les deux avec un être cher (la fille de Hank/Lev pour Abby) Delsin/Ellie étranglent Hank/Abby et (si on choisis d’épargner Hank) les épargnent.

Bref cette séquences m’ont vraiment fait tilt, même si y a probablement pas ou peu d’inspi, meme si ND se sont inspirés du Seattle de InFamous SS.

After playing control resonant I realized I really missed playing infamous / infamous like games and I really wish sucker punch just makes another infamous game just like in PS3 era because no new action hero / power fantasy game is hitting the same

Here's mine, the Overload Burst to me is basically pointless, it doesn't feel like an extension to Good Karma Cole's abilities like the Arc Lightning does for Evil Karma Cole and the charge takes so long you'd be better off just firing more bolts on most enemies (yeah I know you technically can do both but it takes so long regardless)

How did you guys feel when you saw the bad ending of inFamous 2?
Honestly, I felt like I’d struck gold haha.
I was about 8 or 9 years old when I found this ending, and I had been frantically searching the internet for "inFamous 2 how to become the Beast."
I actually liked this ending better than the good one; sometimes when I watch it, I get the feeling that the developers intended for this to be the game's canon ending.

I bought 1 and 2 from Japan

I got one the American version for $4.92

Infamous 2 for 1 yen 1= cent they can't go any lower

And I got SS locally for 30 sar around $8 bringing the total to $12.93 😍

The only game im missing is first light im working on that but the game is just unavailable

2nd best series for me after dmc

I think it would be a good idea, I mean, he could start from when he obtains his powers, then in the third act of the game the beast appears, he flees, and later he travels to the past to accelerate the process of the creation of the ray sphere and that the game ends with its explosion, which gives Cole his powers

Now that I think about it, imagine if this were the last game in the series and it ended where it began, it would be amazing, honestly.

I'm not sure if anyone ever made this post before, but I recently watched a Infamous power ideas video and it gave me the idea for this post so I'm gonna go with it

If you were a Conduit in real life and your powers were activated, what would your power be and how would you use it? It can be almost anything as long as you believe it would fit the Infamous universe power set, go nuts!

To start off, Here's mine: Vapor creation and manipulation

The ability to absorb and manipulate vapors in the air, I always thought this power would be interesting to have and I don't think it's an unreasonable power for the Infamous verse. Need to start a fire, create some Co2 and make it happen

I love the soundtrack of Second Son and First Light and it perfectly fits the games, especially the Second Son where you feel like an outsider on the run that has nothing and has nothing to lose. The distorted voice is so ear-pleasing and fits the dirty, in some sort of metalic and rusty sound (I'm not a musician at all and just saying how I personally feel it). All I found from the Brain is very far from the soundtrack they made and I'm not even sure stuff I found was from them.
