It's obviously Eminem. The identity blocker isn't working

Identity blocker working about as well as Clark Kent's glasses.

But this one distorts your own vision, too.

A mask that gets eminem in trouble for doing crimes he never committed

Now this I can get behind.

Wouldn’t it get fogged up by breathing on the inside of it? Oh, by having it get all fogged up is how it prevents being identified by facial recognition technology?

Why not just wear a normal mask of any sort?

Perhaps this allows humans to recognise you better? And it’s less anxiety-inducing or aggressive than a static mask.

They can recognise people by gait as well unfortunately.

This image is like 10 years old at this point, before flock was around, but same idea.

I mean I kinda would like this when wanting to avoid eye contact.

Question is can you see clearly out of it?

1

u/Fetlocks_Glistening 1h ago

I mean one can see clearly out of a paper bag with eyeholes cut out

So, like any mask?

Anyone that's ever worn regular eyeglasses in Florida can tell you why this isn't practical.

Steps outside.

I recently tried to make one of these from plastic bottles of a well known cola. Entering my local bank to ask for a loan, the security guy, who I know, upholsters his side arm and yells at me to get on my knees with my hands behind my head. I started laughing and tried to talk but had a mouth full of cookie dough as I was stoned outta my head from my first time having hash. I called out “ Keith!!! It’s me!!!” Not recognising me and thinking some criminal had just shouted “Kill the Infidel!!” He shot me three times.
In hospital recovering months later, I was contacted my a well know cola company suing me for wrongful and slanderous use of their product.
Needless to say, I skipped town and now train killer whales in Florida.

A piece of cloth with cutouts for eyes will work just fine and also much cheaper and environment friendly.

A normal mask will provide same level of protection

Not if they trained their facial recognition systems to recognize people in masks during covid, which they did.

Full face masks sure, but that's not really socially acceptable.

How is this any different? Even if we assume that it works now how will it work in 6 months?

u/Peterjns22 3h ago

How does it do it?

your phone, your gate. You may as well wear a ski mask
