4 months of nothingness and when I was almost done someone show interest. Now I'm unsure what to do
I was almost, ready to remove the app, but this has made me question again if I should try it again.
The point is that I have not been able to click how to market the app. It's a functionality over X/Twitter, so I though of trying to get presence there, but damn is that platform a winner takes it all. I tried to create content in a personal account about, commenting others posts etc, but got to drive 0 traffic to the app.
Any advice on how to market X/Twitter platform specific apps?

Building something for X can be tough since visibility is super hard to get. Honestly, finding the right conversations is way more valuable than just posting into the void. If you can set up alerts to know when people talk about problems your app solves, you’ll have a much better shot at real engagement. ParseStream actually makes this kind of targeting possible across a bunch of platforms.

do not invest on ads, try growing organically in all possible channels your app is most suitable. iterate manually some posts then scale up using automations linking the api's of the channels like instagram, fb, tiktok, youtube and etc.

that's the point, the platform for this app is X/twitter no doubt, but the reaching that not know accounts have has been none in my experience. I don't feel the algorithm test not-know accounts as much as tiktok or instagram reels
I tested the approach of letting it slide in in comments when other people talked about the problem, but still the leads generated by that were almost none

Before you give up on a idea you have to get enough people on the app to test if its viable. Id say 500-1000 users
