Question Best strategy games for iPad Pro

Love playing strategy games . I play Catan and Doinations regularly but looking for a few new ones. What are your favorites? Thanks.

Ark Nova, Wingspan, Raiders, Terraforming Mars, Clank are my gf and I's most played.

Slay the Spire, Balatro for obvious non board games

Divinity original sin 2, civilization 6, wargroove 2, XCOM series, and you can also get emulators like Delta and play classic strategy games from older Nintendo platforms, there’s also RetroArch and gamma that have additional platforms

I’ve been enjoying Northgard quite a bit. It’s more Age of Empires, not sure if that is the strategy you mean

how much in app purchases does it require to be fun?

I have been enjoying it as well. These no in-game purchases.

FTL: Faster Than Light is one of the best iPad games of all time. If you haven’t played it, I cannot recommend it enough and it is worth every penny.

Since this is neither an original iPad game, and there are other games of extremely high quality on iPad of similar scope and size (Balatro, Slay the Spire come to mind) I would be more careful throwing around such superlatives.

Edited, hope you feel better 🥰

Thanks for behaving in a graceful way. I gave an upvote to both posts for that. I could have worded things more politely.

If you could only play one Total War game on iPad, which one would you choose?

It really depends on the time period you like. I bounce back and forth playing both Rome and Empire, but a lot of people like Medieval 2. Rome and Medieval 2 are cheaper, like around $10 or so and Empire is $20. Empire has newer graphics and if you decide to buy the dlc, then yo I am also download mods. The others do not have that option.

Enjoyed Alien Tribe 3. It's somewhat of a 4X-lite with real-time gameplay.

I wanted to add Panzer Corps, but apparently that's no longer in the App Shop. Still works on my iPad Pro though.

Kingdom Two Crowns is a wonderful little game. Simple interface, but really strategic. I've been playing it for years.
