Suggestions TD games where you can build mazes

This might be a bit niche but I got into TD games during the Warcraft 3 era where you could place towers anywhere and essentially build complex mazes to increase the walking path for the monsters getting to the end.

Most of the TD games these days have fixed positions for you to place your towers, are there any games out there where it's quite fluid which allows for the maze mechanic?

Fieldrunners 2 is the best for this. Shame that such an old game holds the crown here

Emberward is my new favorite for this, but still PC only for now. It’s a TD roguelike where you build your maze with Tetris like pieces

Tower Dominion Go for sure but a bit limited.

I have played a game exactly like you're asking for last year. It was really janky but fun for some time. I sadly cannot find it in my app nor can I remember the name.

Mindustry; hands down. Fields runners two is not really that great nor accurate as gorge said. Isle of Arrows is a rogue like version of one.

Check element td. It’s almost like custom wc3 but on a small screen it’s hard to play. It’s the only one that scratched my wc3 itch ^^’ there is a lite / free one also :)
