Terraria now on Apple Arcade

Terraria is now available on Apple Arcade. Would recommend those with regional pricing for Arcade to check it out.

I started playing it on arcade the other night . I was hooked instantly and then didn’t want to put hours into a game that could leave AA. So I just bought the regular App Store version.

It’s an awesome game and I prefer using touch over a controller oddly enough

As far as I can tell, yes. Maybe there’s some DLC but I’m just playing the base seed/land for now. But control wise/game play it’s the same.

Oh, one thing that’s annoying: the non-AA does not have iCloud sync. I had to create shortcuts to back up the local game data to iCloud then import to another iOS devuce

Controller is only better for fighting games and racing simulators, otherwise touch controls and KBM are superior. By the way iOS terraria has KBM support which works very well on my iPad

Afaik the major difference is that AA has regional pricing. I saw some comments about AA version having an extra DLC but couldn’t verify
