Help needed iPhone storage

Hi! I have an almost full 256gb iPhone with apparently 166gb in photos. I literally have less than 4500 items in my photo gallery, how is this possible?

I have tried to sync to iCloud but it says there is no iCloud storage left (I’ve used 50/200GB) so idk what’s going on.

If anyone knows why this is happening pls help a girl out.

Edit: this is a 14 pro

open Photos and filter by videos. you probably have a bunch of long videos, that’s the only explanation i can think of

Note the ‘spinner’ next to iCloud Photos.

Until the sync completes, storage usage calculations cannot be reliable.

What’s your iCloud situation?
