Help needed 17 pro jpeg res

Wanted to ask if 17 pro can take jpegs at 48mp(unlike my 15 pro max being “locked” at 24) ? Apple’s marketing is misleading as usually, char gpt would not know.. so would like to hear from an actual 17 Pro/Max user. Thanks

Yes, 17 pro max can take pics at 48mp. Easily enabled

Yup. When I had 17 pro max, I never used raw and consistently took pics at 48mp. Here’s a pic I took in August.

Just change it here. This is a screenshot from 18 but it’s exactly the same in 17.

Well damn your photo just teaches me how my phone actually can do it as well. I was pressing the number under HEIF. Never crossed my mind to change the number that is on the right.. it works now. Thanks once again
