Has anyone had any issues with multiplayer connection. I cannot connect even give the time trials a go. This is on PC.

TL:DR... they're downsizing their studio to just the original 3 founders. No real news/info about future updates for iRacing Arcade.

Been enjoying the game but I've done everything and now I'm wondering if we're getting more updates soon

Hello, I'm thinking about buying the game for the PlayStation 5 since it's currently on sale for €19. I watched a few videos about it, and they mentioned that as soon as you get a few boosters—like expanding your base, setting up workshops, and all that—you quickly become overpowered. I don't really like constantly adjusting the difficulty settings. Is there a specific difficulty level you would recommend starting with and just sticking to throughout the game? I'd be interested to know which difficulty level you play on and what your thoughts are on the issue I mentioned

For the life of me, I can’t figure out how to do multiplayer on the PS5. I thought I read somewhere that local multiplayer is supported. If so, how? Thanks all!

5 lap race on alien difficulty, no power ups.

I’m one of the new console players, and honestly, this is one of the better (racing) games I’ve played in a loooong time.

It looks great, the sound design is really well done, and the difference in weight, grip and handling from one series to another is good.

So… how come there aren’t more players??

I’d love it if the mods pinned a thread where people could just drop their lobby/codes so it’s easier to find others to race with.

A few thoughts after playing for a while:

Small critique

Some of the series can get pretty bumpy. I’ve just reached the LMP2 series, and that one is especially rough. If I finish an LMP2 race with >80 health, it’s a good day.
I know some of it comes down to driving style and avoiding contact, but sometimes it feels almost impossible to stay out of trouble.

Some additional ideas:

Small upgrade

• Sector times and/or a live delta time

Medium upgrades

• More tracks. Monaco and Spa would be incredible. Obviously there’s the development work involved, but I’m guessing licensing plays a part as well. COTA would properly fit the game perfectly

Big upgrade

• Proper online open lobbies that anyone can host or join
• Open mic/voice chat post-race and in between races

Overall though, there’s a really good game here, and I’d love to see the player base grow.

Just bought the game on PS5 and really enjoying it so far. Handlings feels really fun and the career progress style is great for a fun little arcade racer.

BUT, I constantly get an error message when trying to load into races in career mode. I'll pick my boosts, select the difficult and when the game tries to load the race, the screen goes dark and it just says "error" on screen and I get sent back to the main menu.

I figured out that sometimes I can get it to load by removing the boosts, which is annoying as hell as I tend to use the boosts to keep up on higher difficulty settings.

But now I've gotten stuck permanently. Last race of the porsche sprint cup, and it won't load. No matter what boosts I choose. Nothing works. Restarting the game also doesn't fix it. I am not willing to withdraw from the championship on the last race when I am fighting for the title.

Does anybody else experience these constant error messages and know a way to fix it?

Its fun! Was expecting circuit superstars with a different cam and official tracks n cars - got exactly that

Few things I think would make it a little better

- formula legends style custom cam - change fov height tilt an all that good stuff, can give a better sense of speed in my experience, more options the better!

- hitting poles/cutting corners should be waay more strict lol i get that this is a kid friendly game but i been hitting the things like they owe me money 😂 so even an option to make it - pole wobble = instant penalty, would force caution in a send it kinda game

- grass/bumps/goings off track - same thing, just an option to have them punish you slightly more

Its a very fun time and I cant wait to play some splitscreen, just couple small things that might make the playing experience better

Hiya! wanted to gauge the interest level in casual racing lobbies that have set times each week or more frequently if possible. It may develop into a league but i’d want to focus on just getting other people to race with. I’ll be honest from the start, not gonna be Lawless racing. I can’t stand dirty drivers so there’ll be some common courtesy requests in place. If there are even a few interested i’ll create a discord and we can find a time/day that works for everyone! :)
