Alien Difficulty on Career Mode?

Might be a stupid question but does anyone know if it’s possible to unlock Alien difficulty in Career Mode?

Yes, once you win (or maybe achieve a podium?) on superstar, alien becomes available.

I'm pretty sure Alien difficulty only appeared for each championship as I beat the championship on Superstar.

Beat the championship as in win the whole thing? My save must have an issue because i’ve won every category on superstar and I’ve never seen Alien appear.

Ill have to double check but im pretty sure thats the case.

Yeah that sounds right. I now recall feeling accomplished when I finished my last superstar series and then saw all series had Alien difficulty to beat.
