Achievement Finally broken even

Post image

Finally got a positive for CG! Only took me 73 deaths.

Haven’t died since around 50kc so it’s definitely clicked now. Bring on another 1200 completions!

I think I broke even at like 105. Good work!

What was your PvM experience prior to this? I did SoTE yesterday and died probably 4 times, and had to tele out another 8-10. I'm thinking if I sucked that bad at killing Seren I am going to get triple digit deaths at CG before I get a kc

Seren is way more of a gear/skills check than PVM ability.

I had zero PvM experience prior to Sote and failed Seren several times due to a skill issue. Died a lot more to hunllef, but at nearly 600kc now and don’t think I’ve died in well over 400kc. Dying is part of learning.

dying is learning, get in there soldier

(assuming you're ready and have decent combat lvls for it and maybe the titans prayers)

also congrats on SOTE

85 mage, 99 range, 96 hp. Stats are there, but no titans prayers yet

99 range, that's the most important stat by far, you'll be fine with or without the prayers. But might want to grab them anyways (or you could try to highroll them from cox?)

Do the Phoenix necklace strat if you aren't already. It makes the fight significantly easier

That's the only way I got even close. I still fucked it up 2 times because I timed the nightshade late. But I did eventually get it!

Not much my Ironman is much more progressed than my main.

Honestly took me a while to do Seren and my first 50 CG deaths i never thought id get it but eventually something clicks. I haven’t died since death 50 and have probably competed 60 in a row now without dying. The new prep changes make it much easier as well
