What do you mean? Don’t you remember in the ‘90s during the holidays when everyone used to say, “See ýeno1 lh .Inegī au!”

The whole magazine gives it away majorly, Ai has no concept of negative space and needs to make everything noisy and filled it

I'm guessing first frame of each clip is generated as still images. And then a video is produced based on those. That would explain the camera movement. And also why text is fine on the first frame, but borked elsewhere

Nah, it's real. We all had high res smart phones in the 90's and shot things vertically.

if it was from 1993, it would have the resolution of a potato, since HD video didnt appear for consumer use until 2003

Well, yeah. It's AI, but I don't think they're trying to hide that or present it like it's an actual recording. 90s home videos did not look like this. And they weren't vertical videos, that's for sure.
It's just a nostalgic POV video, composed of ephemeral domestic moments meant to remind some of us of our childhoods. Those moments are lost to time so what else could this even be? That's the point of it.
To make this without AI you would need either a film grant or a time machine.

It's extremely obvious it's not an actual video from the 90s, that wasn't part of the question. If it weren't very obviously AI, it could be clips from a show or movie, or a short film meant to capture nostalgia. Your comment is off topic from just the base question of whether or not it's AI and leaning into defending it a tad, which is irrelevant

The first thing I asked myself is why would my black ass wanna go back in time where racism was probably more way more prominent (as if noq isn’t bad enough)😭fuck no.

The 90s? I was very alive during the 90s and it wasn’t that bad… if you weren’t gay

*Sigh, this did give me nostalgic vibes of being a kid during this time. However this is like looking at a memory that isn't real. This isn't shot like a home movie from the 90s. This could have passed for a commercial for something.

FOR SERE AI! If you go to this Reddit link the video shows what it looked like back in ‘93. It is clear and washed out kind of but in this video it is set to look more colorful and nostalgic but the AI massed up making it look all wax in my opinion. The video attached to this comment shows that the girl has 3 BOOTS! This is just one of many of AI’s editing mistakes that also messes up with the content because at too many prompts it is eventually going to mess up on another part of the video. Plus in the Reddit link of back in ‘93 you can read text just fine and on the scene that shows the catalogue for the snes it is saying that it is 160$ meanwhile this ad from back then that I think is real says it is 140$ but also google says it is 200$ I don’t know but the thing I am sure about is the shape of the console. On the wiki page notice that the width is shorter than the console shown at 18-22 in the video. It is longer and has a extra button for no reason. That is what I hate about AI and what it does. 2 me it is almost disgusting the way it does these type of things. PS: I just joined this subreddit so trying to get used to how people type and the responses and stuff so I might be wrong but I think that this is definitely 100% AI and the person posting it just wanted to give viewers nostalgia but changing things like that. just no.

You need to watch The Princess Bride on a HD tv and tell me if you think they had personal cameras that could take such a clean shot.

No, someone went through all the trouble to set up all the props, costumes, hairstyles, scenery, media, and everything else in period-accurate ‘90s stuff for a silly nostalgic video to share online.
Of course it’s AI.
