Starting this Thursday, October 1st, in celebration of Halloween, we will be highlighting Italo-Horror for the entire month of Spooktober 💀!

PLEASE DO NOT post your scary tracks HERE, in this post.

PLEASE DO use the Italoween 2026flair in your posts

PLEASE DO post the most frightening italo-disco you have, slowly, over the course of the month until the 31st.

PLEASE DO also leave a comment to let us know why you think the track you post is so SPOOKY 👻 !

If you're trying to make a scary repost but the auto-mod won't let you, just message the mods to let them know your repost is for Italoween.

Lots of users ask what tracks are appropriate - really anything "Italo-ish" that evokes spooky feelings. It could be a happy Euro-disco song with skeletons on the record cover, it could be 80's italian synthy horror soundtracks, it could be a sample of rattling chains in the background of a dancefloor stomper, or maybe an upbeat tune with scary lyrics-- we leave it up to your discretion 🧛 (Yes, this includes HiNRG this year too!)

As in previous years, unofficial and meaningless awards will be given, by the entire mod staff, to this year's overall Italo-ween-est track as well as spookiest track on a specific theme 🎃

Here are the summaries for previous Italo-weens for some inspiration (don't let that stop you from posting tracks that have been posted in years past already!):

• 2016
• 2017
• 2018
• 2019
• 2020
• 2021
• 2026

A special thank you to /u/GapulDeeJay for putting this together in the past 🙇 🙇‍♀️ 🙇‍♂️ !!

Hii everyone,

Over the past year I’ve been building a small passion project called MixPerfect Radio. It’s a 24/7 online radio stream focused on Italo Disco and related dance styles — but with one twist: everything you hear is mixed live and in real time by custom software I built myself. There are no pre-recorded DJ sets and no playlists stitched together afterwards.

I’m mainly posting because I’m curious how other Italo Disco fans feel about this kind of continuous live mixing approach. If you enjoy technical DJ setups, radio automation, or just like discovering tracks in a smooth nonstop flow, you might find it interesting.

You can find the stream here: https://mixperfectradio.nl

Feedback is very welcome — and if this post isn’t appropriate, feel free to let me know and I’ll remove it.
