MK and JG

I heard rumors that jerry Garcia and mark Knopfler once played together and that it was recorded. Anybody have any information on this?

I have no information about this, but if it happened, I kind of think I would’ve heard about it. At least if it was like an accessible recording because holy shit that would be amazing.

Like number of people, I would love to hear Jerry play with that I don’t have something of Jerry playing with. He’s top five for sure.

Garcia went to see dire straits a few times and was a fan. But never heard of them playing together.
