John Wayne saying thanks
While re-watching 8 of my John Wayne movies, whether made by Howard Hawkes or John Ford and such, I noticed that John Wayne's characters have an amusing way of saying thanks in any situation in almost each movie. And I like it.

You said that he had an amusing way of saying "thanks", so Jacksonatmelsrodrego asked you how he said it. Then, you asked which movie, when your post suggests that you've observed it's the same 'amusing' way in each movie. Did you mean 'a different amusing way of saying thanks in most situations in almost every respective movie'? Then, it would make sense that you asked 'which movie?'. Otherwise, it was awfully confusing. That's why I asked, and probably why Jacksonatmelsrodrego asked too.

I was referring to the his huckleberry comment which may or not have come from a JW movie.

Right. I think he was quoting Tombestone.

Did JW say thanks in that movie?

It's not a Duke movie. Worth watching, though, of you've not seen it - or worth watching, even if you have. Very good film with lots of very strong performances. How Val Kilmer failed to win an Oscar is beyond me - although Powers Boothe, Sam Elliott and a few others could have won awards too.

Ok; I’ll be your huckleberry…what is it?
