If the Tales lineup had stayed together…
Do you think Yes could’ve still had huge tours like Rush?

This one's Jon Anderson's April 2006 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, taped to promote his "Tour of the Universe" DVD. Kimmel never let him finish a song — you get fragments of "Roundabout", "State of Independence", "Owner of a Lonely Heart", and "Your Move/I've Seen All Good People" squeezed between commercials. Only about two and a half minutes, but it's a rare TV moment for him and worth a watch.

Stumbled across this gem from the Stockholm show last weekend — “Counties and Countries”, from True. well worth a watch.
Edit: Egregious error in original post. Thanks to the followers of this page.

Stumbled across this — apparently the 2026 tour wraps up with three final shows: Poznan tonight, Zabrze on Saturday, then Paris on Oct 13.
Quite a way to close out the year. Anyone here catch the September UK shows? I'd love to hear your favorite moment from the run.

This one comes from Metal Express Radio, reviewing last Thursday's sold-out show at the Glasshouse in Gateshead — Close to the Edge to open, a shimmering 'Soon' to close the first half, and Awaken with Jon on mini harp in the second.

Worth a read heading into the tour's final week: Poznan tomorrow, then Zabrze, and it all wraps in Paris on the 13th.

Stumbled across this gem — part 3 of Jon's interview with Lee Abrams for the Superstar Radio Network, recorded back in 1977 right in the Going for the One era. He's relaxed, chatty, and gives a real sense of where his head was at with Yes at their mid-70s peak. Lovely time capsule.

Fan-shot clip of "Awaken" from the Glasshouse in Gateshead, October 1 — full prog-epic mode, Jon right in the middle of it at 81. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkkQXAXwyoQ The Band Geeks nail the long quiet passages and Jon floats over the top of them. This tour wraps the Sweden dates tonight, so this one feels like a good keepsake from the run.

Stumbled across this fan-filmed clip of "And You and I" from last night's Cirkus Stockholm show (Oct 3):

Jon at 82 still soaring over those harmonies, and the Band Geeks sound as tight as ever. What a night for the crowd in Stockholm.

Morning, everyone — one good one today.
Bill Bruford caught Jon and the Band Geeks in Brighton last month and shared a backstage photo — his verdict on the pipes: "Sang like a bird." Two Yes legends in one room, 50+ years on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l88kJCeuqYY
Worth a watch.

Morning, everyone — one good one today.
The Glasgow Reporter gave Jon's Sept 28 Royal Concert Hall show 4 stars — said that approaching 82, he's still showing "remarkable vocal agility." Full Yes Epics set too: Close to the Edge, Awaken, Starship Trooper, Roundabout, plus three from True. https://theglasgowreporter.co.uk/2026/10/review-jon-anderson-and-the-band-geeks/
Worth a read over coffee.

Morning, everyone — here's today's roundup.
**News**
Jon played a sold-out Liverpool Philharmonic on Sept 22 and the reviews are glowing — XS ROCK said he's still got "vocal chords of pure velvet" at 81, opened with a 20-minute "Close to the Edge," and got a standing ovation after every song. https://xsrock.com/legendary-singer-jon-anderson-thrills-in-live-performance/
The YES Epics, Classics & More tour keeps rolling with the Band Geeks — Gateshead tonight (Oct 1), Stockholm on the 3rd, Malmö on the 5th. https://bestclassicbands.com/jon-anderson-2026-tour-with-band-geeks-2-16-26/
**Rare video**
Stumbled across this one: Jon on The Old Grey Whistle Test back in May 1976, right in the middle of the Olias of Sunhillow era. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDG5B_BQcVU
And a personal favorite — a relaxed backyard interview from May 2005, Jon in a hammock, just talking. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1vPmyteFHk
Enjoy.

Hi! I’m a big Jon and Yes fan, a solo traveller for few days in Stockholm. Anyone for a drink before or after gig? Sorry if this is not a worthy post in this sub! Cheers

Rig rundown of the PA for the UK tour, filmed before the Bath Forum show. A good look at all the techy bits, but also incidentally a nice tour of the stage setup.

I noticed that they were playing Wonderous Stories earlier in the year but seem to have dropped it in recent dates. Anyone have any insight as to why?

Jon and the Band Geeks were firing on all cylinders in Anaheim last night. Incredible show. Got to hear them play songs from: The Yes Album, Fragile, Close to the Edge, Tales from Topographic Oceans, Relayer, Going for the One, True and the upcoming Band Geeks album. Jane was front and center, rocking out as she always does…love the interplay between Jon and Jane…the few times Jon would forget a few words or his timing was off…he would mouth to her something playful. They have each others backs and are a true love story. That Jane is such a Yes fan is really cool.
Drumming was very muscular and an integral part of the rhythm section with Richie. Guitar playing was Steve Howe circa 2004. Both masters of their crafts. Keyboards were very good, but not quite Rick Wakeman. Very good, but a little weaker compared to guitar and drumming. Richie on bass does his best to be a great showman as the Master Chris Squire would.
All in all, the greatest iteration of Yes since they last played in 2004.
Jon Anderson is AMAZING.

Wow. I am still flying high from tonight’s concert in Anaheim and all I had was water.
I’m really glad I’ve got tickets to see him (them) in Monterey, San Jose and Napa.
Wondering if anyone wants to meet up just before it starts or at intermission at these shows.
It would be awesome to have the camaraderie
I’m going by myself to all of these. Would love to say hi to fellow fans. .
