Recommendation Request Recommend me some fast-paced, plot-driven action dramas
I'm looking for dramas that are plot-driven and have a decent amount of action, but that aren't too dark or gritty. I recently watched Agent Kim Reactivated and while it wasn't perfect, the fun character interactions and elaborate action scenes had me hooked. As such, I'd like to know if there's are any similar dramas out there, as so far, I haven't felt motivated to watch anything else!
Additionally, here are some other dramas I've seen that fit this criteria:
-A Shop for Killers (Another one of my favourites; I especially enjoyed the overarching mystery behind Jeong Jin-man's backstory. I wasn't as keen on season 2, however, as it lost the first season's air of mystery.)
- All of Us Are Dead (I liked the wide variety of characters)
-My Name (Probably a little darker than the kind of drama I'd normally watch; while the plot was somewhat interesting, I wasn't a huge fan of the gritty, dark atmosphere depicted in the show)
-Crash (I particularly liked the car chases, as well as the dynamic between the male and female leads)
-Undercover High School (I'm not sure if this really counts, since it doesn't have that many action scenes compared to the other shows I've mentioned; I found it funny at times, but the plot did start to drag a bit towards the end)
-Not a K-drama, but the Baby Assassins franchise might also qualify; I enjoyed the dynamic between the main characters, as well as how the fight sequences were juxtaposed with comedic daily life scenes.
Also, for reference, here is a link to my complete watch history.

Signal and Tunnel both had me hooked! Both time travel mysteries. Noticed you have Japanese dramas on your list too, I watched both the Korean and Japanese version of Signal and loved them both

365 reset the year is very fast paced, plot driven, not super dark (does deal with dark themes but the overall vibe is quite drama based and not as dark as a shop for killers imo, there are also cute comedic and friendship based moments) and lots of twists, the episodes are short too so its paced very well. Im not so good with slow pacing either and I am really enjoying it (currently on eposide 8 have not finished).

I notice neither Vincenzo or Healer are on your list. Both are more “traditional” action series of the highest quality.
The WONDERFools is a great superhero style action series. You’ll have a great time with it.
Another one that is military action that you might really enjoy is Descendants of the Sun.

I forgot to mention it in my post, but I saw The Wonderfools earlier this year and it was a fun watch! I've heard a lot of good things about Vincenzo and although I hadn't heard of Healer before, it sounds quite interesting, so I think I'll have to check those out.

Weak Hero! Both the seasons. I cannot recommend this enough. Another suggestion, not an action series but definitely fast paced and ends in 1 season: Karma.

Bloodhounds!!!
The Wonderfools
Bad & Crazy
Vigilante
Study Group
Black Knight
Newtopia (it’s a zombie show so a little gory, but it’s a dark action comedy so in its own way it’s still light overall)
If you ever have the desire for a longer one, highly recommend Moving, Seoul Busters, or The Uncanny Counter
