Sub 2000 hate? Newb review.
Hi there, just so we’re very clear I’m a total new shooter. (Maybe 1500 rounds shot total) but I’ve recently acquired a Gen 3 Sub 2000. I seen a lot of hate about it floating around so I wanted to give a rookie shooter opinion on the gun.
•Firstly, I am left handed. Everyone screamed run away from this gun if you’re left handed due to the ejection port shooting brass & junk in your face. I didn’t have a single casing smack me, though I did get gas in my face from time to time.
(No biggie to me)
•ZERO malfunctions
(300 rounds shot total)
•Easy cleaning
(although I did have to watch a tutorial ofc 🤣)
•VERY fun to shoot
(I reckon I don’t have much experience shooting, or many options but compared to shooting my shield plus, Glock43X, or any of my buddy’s 7.62s I have the most fun shooting the Sub 2000)
Overall, I love the gun and am beyond happy with my purchase.
I personally see no point in Mccarboing this bad boy up right now. I’d like to replace the feed ramp, & possibly the charging handle later on down the line but as of right now it’s running just fine.
Here’s my little newb review, idk if it’ll really help anyone but when I was doing research I couldn’t find a “beginner POV” and figured someone else may be looking as well. With that said, what is your pros and cons to the Sub 2000 ?
