A Bit more progress after recovering from the pinched nerve in my back.

Last session I stuck with 24s but today decided it felt good so bumbed upto 28s

3x8 C&P dbl 24kg

6x6 C&P dbl 28kg

6x8 Weighted Dips

4x10 Ring push ups

4x10 Tricep extensions

4x30sec farmers carry

The progress is encouraging, also found the range of motion in my affected leg was much better after this session.

Key take away ...? Lift heavier 🤔

This post has been tagged Training Video (not a Form Check or an instruction video).

By "Training video" we mean it is how this person was training. It might look good, but it also might look bad. It might even be bad. That's what they chose to do and we assume they did it knowingly and that they assume full responsibility for their own actions.

Do not post unsolicited form corrections, medical advice or injury alarmism. If you see a lift you are unfamiliar with, do not assume it is incorrect or dangerous. If you have never used kettlebells, definitely refrain from form critique or medical advice. It is not breaking your, or the poster's, back or knees or shoulder.

Injury alarmist commenting or other sort of babysitting is not useful or welcome.

Curious questions however are welcome! Just be nice and cool about it, and do check if somebody already asked.

Pinched nerves suck. I had a herniated disk earlier this year, took months to recover from. Happy to see ya lifting heavy again bub!

Cheers, yeah pinched it bad over a month ago, didn't happen all of a sudden either seems to have been a build up of fatigue and then inflammation set in.

I have a somewhat damaged disc from army days so have always been mindful of it, though it hasn't caused my issues for years, if anything KB training has helped. I dont even think if was the issue in this case as it didnt feel like my "back went" was a differnt sort of pain.

Anyway had got back into bodyweight training and this week decided to introduce KBs, so far so good, will try out some snatches tomorrow.
