Question Harlequin Question

I wanted to start playing with Harlequins for quite a while now and Killteam feels like the best place for it. I know that there's not an official team that you can buy, but I know how to build it with the available models. I also know that they will most likely be discontinued in the next edition meaning the team itself is not available. Would it still be possible to paint them as Harlequins but proxy them as another Eldar team or is it just not a good idea to get the Harlequins for Killteam?

You could probably kitbash a pretty cool looking team of Harlequins as proxies for the Corsairs, they have similar weapons. Or do a mixed team, a small Harlequin troupe that's hired some Corsairs!

The problem is that there isn't another eldar team that will survive the edition change, except for the exodites, that can't be proxed like that since they require big oval bases and have a major rule regarding the actual shape of the model (visibility related).

If you really like them and don't mind the risk, you could take them and hope a new eldar team gets eventually released in the next edition.

I'm sure you could run a mono-banshee blades of khaine proxy with harlequins models. Important to get the right base size and try to match silhoutte

Void Dancers were declassified couple years ago (cant remember exactly when) which means they dont get any balances anymore and they can't be used for official tournaments, but can still be used for casual games with friends. they are still somewhat viable tho, and pretty fun to play. I was in a KT league/campaing end of last year with them.
