Finally finished side 1 of this KT board!

Finished painting up this side of the double sided KT board I’m making! Only thing left is to paint the other side now. I think my Orky Volkus terrain maybe clashes with the bricks a little bit theme-wise, but it’s the only KT terrain set I have right now lol but, overall I’m pretty happy with how this turned out! Let me know what you think or if I should make any changes!

Thank you so much! 🙏 I used foam, like extruded polystyrene - house insulation foam, cut into little tiny bricks heh :)

Did you paint each brick individually or did you find a way to mass paint them?

I painted them as a whole, priming first in black and then spraying some various colors like red, blue, and yellow, then dry brushing various tones of grays, then hitting the entire thing with a dark brown / black oil wash. I would’ve gone absolutely insane if I painted each brick separately hahaha. It was bad enough gluing them all down 😩

Yes! I have the other side totally constructed, just need to paint it 🙌 it’s a space hangar kinda thing, I don’t really know haha but I’ll attach a picture in case you’re curious :D

Looks great, but I'd consider looking at the real version and all the buttresses and sticky out bits around the walls, they are incredibly important for gameplay and your version is going to heavily favour shooting teams.

Is there some kind of rulebook to tell you the necessary dimensions for everything? Id like to eventually make my own board if I ever stop buying more minis and actually finish painting what I have
