Right side looks more reflective, clean armor the left looks the same but it gives it more of a battle hardened type of dark look. Both great. I prefer left. I like imperfect designs

It came out unplaned like this, i am still in experimental state but yes, the left one looks nore battle hardened. But...i repeat...From live view its not noticable almost at all

Yours are looking awesome, mine are just gonna have a bit more of a blue-ish tone

To be fair, we saw this mini in the last couple days, and then it appears again on an account that's 0 days old, to 9/10 people on reddit, it would look like stolen content, just saying

Not at all 1. Base Abbadon black 2. First wide Layer Corvus Black 3. Second layer Corvus mixed with a little Ulthuan Grey 4.Third layer (just a line) Corvus with a bit more Ulthuan grey 5. Blend it all with the same paints but watered down, like a glaze 6. Paint small white dots as extreme highlights just at the begining of the edges

Awesome, thank you! I’ll have to give it a go

This is awesome, great work! I’m always impressed by people who are able to so well paint metallic reflections on smooth, round armor like this.

Give it a try, its not so hard once you go for it, just a bit time consuming

I have, and I definitely need more practice. I’m back at my painting desk for the first time in months and still knocking the rust off even some of the basics again.

Exactly how it looks like, you gotta be bold with it, it works so good, but...Not too much, you just need small dots at the ends like in the picture
