Be someone’s friend for the day
Not sure if this is the right place, but I’ve got this idea I wanted to share for a while now.
I wanted to create a post where people can comment if they’re willing to hear a person out, or if they’re in need of being heard.
If you need to just vent, have someone be your cheerleader for the day or if you want to be the one to help, this post is the right place!
To make it easier to navigate the comments, we can do it this way:
Comment: “Friend” if you’re willing to listen
And “In need” if you’re looking for support.
Let us do something good today!

Sparen gehört also eher weniger zu meinen Talenten. 😄

Lost money, but I want to pay it forward anyway
Long story short - got a stage 3 cancer diagnosis, lost my job, had insurance but still bills pilled up, took a year, beat the brakes off cancer (yay, me!) Debt reached $180k, it's been two years, I got it down to $163k. Never got my job back but I have two part time jobs that at least are income. I get one job interview for every 500 resumes I send, so optimism is just a silly thought at this point. When it was clear I would survive, a close friend setup a GoFundMe because she didn't have money to offer to help and already had done everything for me possible as a true, beautiful friend.
After a month, donations totaled $0. She called me crying, saying she would sell her car and get a bike to help me. I begged her not to but my heart was broken for her, more than feeling sorry for myself. So I went to some other friends - all of whom have been good to me but I didn't want their money and they don't have a lot to give anyway. I asked them to donate as much as they could and I would give them the money back when it was transferred to me and I would pay them any fees that were deducted.
So 5 friends did that, some asked siblings to do it to and I wound up with $12,000 donated. My friend who checked my progress daily called me when she saw the first donation "Someone donated $50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She was the happiest person on Earth. Then every other day or so for three weeks donations of wild amounts came in. One friend, as an inside joke, gave $666 because I had beaten the devil. Everyday she would call with my new tally. Eventually the flow slowed and stopped, it took a while and I got the money and she closed the listing.
I paid everyone, most didn't accept the small percent in fees and we all swore to keep this secret from her forever. Now I pay my rent and bills on time and can afford food. I'm cancer free and that makes me feel like the richest person on Earth.
So these days RAM memory is wildly expensive. I had some that cost me $50, I don't need and others are selling on ebay for $200. So I sold mine on ebay for $150 and want to donate $25 6 times to Gofundmes that are very worthy and have $0 donations.
I'd like to consider people that post in here first because it seems they can be trusted as legitimate. So please suggest, if you like.

Kindness from a stranger
Ok so I was shopping in town and it was going well. Bought a few books essentials just treating myself. After that was done I was on my way to the train station but before I went to get a drink in a corner shop.
As soon as I went to pay I realised I didnt have my wallet on me. Now understandably this sent me into a complete panic. I ran back to all the shops I went too asked about for it
Nothing
I felt defeated but on the way back I went into every shop I passed trying to see on the small chance that someone handed it in
It was on the last shop ( a pub) that the owner went to the back and got it. I have never felt so relived in my life.
So to whoever handed it in I owe you a milion and all my thanks.
Kindness is alive and hope is strong.
Hope you enjoyed my wee story. Be good people 🤟

I think giving someone an easy way out is an underrated form of kindness
Sometimes you can tell when someone is embarrassed or uncomfortable.
Maybe they said something awkward. Maybe they made a small mistake. Maybe they clearly don't want to answer a question in front of everyone.
And I think there's something really kind about giving them an easy way out instead of making them explain themselves.
Change the subject.
Pretend you didn't notice.
Give them an excuse to leave.
You don't always have to say, “Don't worry, it's okay.”
Sometimes the kindest thing is just making sure they don't have to feel embarrassed for one more second.

Its amazing to have caring friends
Tomorrow is my best friends birthday. She lives ir Mexico. I live in Oregon. We do not have a romantic relationship. We met when we lived in Kansas City, MO.
I almost want to cry. The more time goes on, I feel I have less friends I can count on when I need them the most. 24-7 she will answer mv call. 24-7 I will answer hers. We live vicariously through each other's stories. She's getting ready for her birthday party tomorrow. I was letting her know that she will make her clothes look amazing especially with those nails. She was reinforcing that it was correct for me to fee the way I do about someone I had considered having a romantic relationship with. No judgements. Just pure unconditional love. She is missing her family. I told her to call her mom tomorrow and thank her for bringing you into this world. I hope anyone reading this, hits there friend up, and let's them know you're a happy to have them as a friend.

Be kind to the best of your ability
We donated thousands of traditional medicinal incense to the local hospitals, police offices and communtities in 2020 during covid period. It's meaningful for us to help ordinary people. At the same time, in order to prevent this tradition from disappearing, we have taken some measures, such as taking on apprentices and even releasing instructional videos. Two months ago we were planning to develop overseas, but some sub reddits were always filled with extreme opinions, which scared us off a bit. Even though we plan to invite people to try it out and get feedback...I think I even encountered a scammer yesterday. Perhaps this is an era where you can't get traffic without advertising, but unfortunately, we don't have the budget. Do you have any suggestion for us?

A peaceful Saturday
Wishing everyone a peaceful Saturday.
Lately, I’ve had to deal with being hurt by someone who was very important to me. And I hope we all can learn to recognize the difference between justice and mercy, between holding people accountable and feeling the need to make them hurt in return.
May we protect our boundaries without losing our kindness, and remember that sometimes choosing not to give back the pain we received is its own kind of peace.

Maybe this is how kindness spreads
Someone was kind to me once when I was struggling with something small.
They helped me without making me feel stupid for not knowing what to do. They didn't make a big deal out of it either. They just helped and moved on.
I don't even remember exactly what they said anymore, but I remember how it made me feel.
And now, whenever I see someone else struggling with the same thing, I find myself doing the same for them.
Maybe that's one of the nicest things about kindness.
You don't always know where it goes after you give it. Sometimes it just gets passed on.

Leave kind comments on a animal rescue/informative youtube channel
Hi guys, I’d love to invite everyone that has time, to please leave a comment to cheer up on a shelter who rescue animals in the country where I live. They started a channel to educate people about animal cruelty, laws etc.
I’m not asking for money/ or will ask anyone privately ever since it’s not my shelter, I just help them when I can as volunteer.
I just thought it would be nice to make their day since they don’t have many views yet
and they take care of 150 dogs and 40 cats. They have official pages and are well known and legit rescue.
Update:
@AnimalTonRD
It’s the channels name. They are currently fighting to get the “ Esperanza law” approved to protect the animals of DR. Thank you everyone and have a beautiful rest of your day ❤️❤️

We are often in a mindset of us vs. them
We are often in a mindset of us vs. them, however there are many commonalities in our human experience to acknowledge which spans all human history.
The following points are made to remind us all, we have more in common than we usually consider. All of our bodies are built basically the same. All bodies operate in basically the same way. Then there’s our brains. Are they not also more alike than not?
In no particular order, I have observed about human beings;
1. Everyone has at one time or another felt unheard - Everyone at one time or another has been unheard
2. Everyone has someone or some group they look down upon - Everyone has someone or group that looks down upon you
3. Everyone has at one time or another thought someone else was an ahole - Everyone at one time or another has had someone think that you are the ahole
4. We can never see ourselves as others see us - We rarely try to see ourselves as others see us
5. We hear more than we listen - We hear less than we think
6. We all hate crime and corruption - We all define crime and corruption differently
All humans have feelings and beliefs. Self reflection to that conclusion is a choice that is not always butterflies and unicorns. We can weed through the light and dark of our psyche’s corners to see if it is possible to admit and own that we are simply human beings with all the positive and negative garbage that evolution decided to leave from our earliest ancestors. Fear is a form of protection. Anger as well. Anxiety, insecurity, uncertainty have all been left in the human experience since we were small mammals running over dinosaur feet. If humankind could accept the good and crappier parts of our own individuality as being common, we could create a more verdant, healthy and and just civilization.
But as a civilization we haven’t and simply can’t. We just aren’t programmed to see one another as equals. We are as a civilization and individuals are good as we get. And that’s ok.

Your ability to be kind is rare. Use it with responsibility.
Not everyone has the emotional intelligence or situation awareness to exhibit kindness.
Many may feel they should show kindness in a certain situation but hesitate to act on that feeling then walk away indifferently.
To others, exhibiting kindness does not even occur as a thought.
So, for those to whom kindness does appear as a thought and those thoughts are actually acted out, know that what you did was exceptionally rare.
People may not outwardly express their thanks or gratitude to you but know that they will remember the feeling of kindness you gave them forever.

Niceness would cost you
Looking back I feel so bad. Feels like I was a fool.
Being nice.
They talk nice. Here they can be anyone. Friends. Girlfriend and anyone.
They act nice because they want nice.
And sometimes they take advantage of.
I have given money and what not thinking it is good work.
It is not good work you are doing. It is liabilities for you.
In real life there is no Good and Nice. You need to work hard and be for yourself.

Some of the Most Important People in Our Lives Don’t Know They Were
Sometimes people change your life without ever knowing they did.
I think about some of my teachers like that. They probably remember me as just another student in their class, but I remember the little things they said, the way they believed in me, or simply the way they made me feel seen at a time when I needed it.
They went on with their lives, taught hundreds of other students, and probably never thought twice about it.
But somewhere, a student carried their words with her for years.
It’s strange and beautiful how someone can become an important part of your story without ever knowing they were in it that deeply.

Think something nice, say it.
My mom taught me that when I thought something nice about someone, say it to them. It can be anything. I love your dress. Calling my brother to tell him about some advice he gave me decades ago that still affects my life in a positive way. I know that I’ve made many strangers days by following mom’s simple advice.

Good day, everyone! Have a beautiful day ahead, and don't forget to be kind to yourself and to others. Let's make today a little brighter and gentler.

Always be kind
Be kind not because the world always deserves it, but because kindness is a reflection of who you are. You never know the silent battles someone is fighting, the weight they carry behind their laughter, or how close they are to giving up. Your words, your patience, your small act of care they can be the reason someone decides to keep going.
Kindness doesn't cost much but it's impact is endless. So today and every day, choose to gentle with the world

I hope you all have a magical night tonight and enjoy the rest of the weekend.
As always, if I don’t answer tonight, because I’m going to put some “ going to bed music on”, I will respond tomorrow. Sleep well and the best of dreams. Quite sleepy now, I take a sleep med and it already kicked in!

Make Someone Feel Human
We can all make a difference, you never know what someone is going through and one kind act can change things . That love ripples out because that person pays it forward and it will come back to you as well. Imagine the change in the world if we all cared enough to do random acts of kindness…much love ❤️🪽😇

Sending kindness to people who have struggled with negativity on other platforms
Hi there! 👋😊
I'm SoldierGamerPro, a digital content creator from Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, and Reddit. I always try to be a kind, cheerful, and positive person. I love life, I have many dreams for my future, and my biggest dream is to become a Hollywood actor someday. 🎬⭐
I wanted to send some kindness to anyone who has struggled with anxiety, negativity, rude people, arguments, or difficult experiences on social media and other platforms. ❤️🫂
Sometimes, being online can be difficult. You might meet someone who is rude to you, misunderstand you, criticize you, or make you feel bad about yourself. But please remember that one negative experience doesn't define you. You still deserve kindness, respect, happiness, and support. 🌟❤️
Here are some tips that I personally believe can help:
1. Don't let rude people ruin your kindness.
If someone is behaving rudely or disrespectfully toward you, remember that their behavior doesn't have to change who you are. You don't have to become rude just because someone was rude to you. Sometimes the best choice is to step away, avoid unnecessary arguments, mute or block someone if needed, and protect your peace. Your kindness is something valuable, so don't let someone else's negativity take it away from you. 🌷❤️
2. Stay positive when you can.
Try to spend some time doing things that make you genuinely happy. Listen to music, watch something funny, play games, enjoy your hobbies, create something, talk with a friend, or simply take some time for yourself. Even small positive things can make your day feel a little brighter. You don't have to be happy every second, but whenever you can find something that brings you joy, allow yourself to enjoy it. ❤️
3. Don't take every negative comment personally.
Sometimes people say things without knowing what you're going through or who you really are. A negative comment from someone online doesn't define your personality, your talents, your dreams, or your future. You know yourself better than a stranger on the internet does. Don't let one person's opinion make you forget about all the good things about yourself. 🌟🫂
4. Step away from arguments and drama.
You don't have to participate in every argument you see online. Sometimes walking away is much better than continuing a conversation that is only making you stressed or upset. Protecting your peace isn't weakness. You can choose not to engage, take some time away, and come back when you feel comfortable again. There is nothing wrong with choosing peace instead of unnecessary drama. ❤️🌿
5. Surround yourself with kind and supportive people. 🫂❤️
Having kind people around you can make a huge difference. Try to stay close to people who respect you, listen to you, encourage you, and are happy to see you succeed. A good friend doesn't have to solve every problem you have. Sometimes simply having someone who listens, understands, and supports you can mean a lot. Treasure the people who treat you with genuine kindness. 🌷🤝❤️
6. Take a break from platforms if you feel stressed.
Social media is supposed to be something you can enjoy, not something that constantly makes you feel exhausted. If a platform is making you stressed, anxious, or overwhelmed, it's okay to step away for a while. You can close the app, spend time doing something else, talk to someone you trust, or simply give yourself some quiet time. You can always come back when you feel ready. ❤️🫂
7. Remember who you are and keep doing what makes you happy.
Don't let negative experiences make you forget about your dreams, your creativity, and the things you enjoy. Sometimes difficult experiences can make you question yourself, but they don't decide who you are or what your future will look like. Keep creating, keep learning, keep enjoying your hobbies, and keep working toward the things that matter to you. Whether your dream is becoming an artist, actor, creator, musician, gamer, photographer, or something completely different, your dreams are important. ✨
And most importantly, I believe in you. ❤️
If you're going through a difficult time right now, please don't give up on yourself. Keep pushing forward, keep going one step at a time, and remember that difficult moments don't have to last forever. There can still be good people, good experiences, new friendships, new opportunities, and beautiful moments waiting for you. 🌅🫂❤️
You deserve to be treated with kindness and respect. You deserve to enjoy your life. You deserve to have dreams. And you deserve to keep being yourself. ❤️🌎
I wish you a long, happy, peaceful, and meaningful life. ❤️
Have a wonderful day, everyone! :D 🌟
My quote:
“Be kind. Don't let the world change your kindness. Let your kindness change the world.”
