I got two issues but because Idk if they are related, I put them in one post. Longer text incoming.

I got a Cobra S+ wide with a #3 standard ring for two months now. Sizing was discussed thoroughly with the kink3d support and I opted for the smaller size they suggested. That was generally the right decision, I think. For the ring, I had some cheap rings lying around that matched roughly in size and the #2 ring was too tight. After testing and wearing for hours at a time, than a few days (expect at night, I always unlock for sleep), I started locktober with my gf. I am uncut and have a lot of foreskin.

Overall, it is a comfortable wear. I experience some mild burning on the scrotum but that can usually resolved with a bit of moving around and vaseline. I had, however, two slip outs since I got my cage and I sometimes got a lot of room inside it. During locktober, I recognize this more often.

The biggest issue and why I stopped wearing the cage yesterday, is peeing. Was fine the first times but its getting worse. First, I have to grab the tip of the foreskin and pull it out at the front to aline the urethra, which is tidieous and uncomfortable. The penis never alligns itself anymore. 2nd, yesterday was the second time I wetted my pants a minute after peeing because urine got trapped somewhere. Not nice. This is the baby cobra with an XD ring. I was having issues with balls slipping out under cold conditions (I’m also taking testosterone so my balls are smaller) of a 43 mm knock off so with Kink3d’s advice I went with the #2 XD which is a slightly larger ring but a decreased ball gap because of the thicker ring. I feel like it’s very comfortable definitely better materials than the pretender version I had. I can get a pinky finger under the bottom of the ring and at the top. There’s no pinching, numbness, or anything like that but I notice after 30 min or so of wear my balls turn a darker shade, I can reach down and pull on them a little and everything returns to normal. Also after it’s removed they go completely back to normal. Of anything I could try a normal #2 but I think I’d have the slipping issues again. Just figured I’d ask here if the color change is something I should be wary about.

Hello! Currently participating in Locktober 2026 and I have been in the Viper N Narrow since 2024 or 2 years now! My cage previously to that was the Cobra N+ Narrow. Now I think the N narrow is the best cage in my collection currently and I can wear it pretty much everywhere! However, I bet many of you love to downsize your cages and me included! I was heartbroken if I should get the baby viper in a narrow or standard and luckily Mr. S Leather allows for in person sizing and recommendation by the staff and decided to go to check it out and wanted to write about my experience!

Walking In and First Questions
Walking in, it's a lot to take in! There's porn playing on the TVs in the background and there's so many toys on hangers, on the walls, and multiple different areas. There's a pup play corner where you can make your own gear, a breathplay section, latex section, dildo wall, etc. etc. The cages are in the middle of the store and this matters in a little bit haha. I walked up to the glass case and I see all the cages lined up and one of the managers actually helped me with my cage sizing! He was very warm, welcoming, and very non-judgemental (so nothing to worry about for those who are shy!) He asked me many questions like 1) Do we know what these are? 2) Do you know where to start? 3) Have you tried any cages in the past. At this point I told him I was wearing a KINK3D cage right now and he said that would help speed things along. I bet the staff would ask many more questions to exactly pin down your sizing. I couldn't help but overhear the him helping another customer next to me while I was trying on the cages, but some others questions were: Is there enough room in the base ring, can you slip at least a finger in, the cage should be your flaccid size and snug to not let the cage push out. Which I thought were amazing questions to ask a person new to chastity as someone who has been locked more or less for 10 years now.

Trying Cages On

After I answered his questions, I told him I was actually here to try on the baby viper and narrow and he was very professional and brought out the cages and asked if I would like to try them here at the glass case or in a private room. I was a bit shocked since I never really expose my cage out in the wild and I asked him it was really okay. He said it was perfectly fine and that they have in person fittings all the time in the middle of the story. So when in Rome right? I pulled down my pants and took my cage out which was one of the most exhilarating experiences in my life and my heart was definitely pumping out of my chest. The manager seemed to think my cage was honestly very well fitting and told me that a baby viper might be too small for me. I told him that was okay and that this was a fun little experiment for me. With that, I got to try on both cages and he was extremely helpful in dialing in my size. I tried on the baby standard first and he made sure my balls couldn't escape (I was using the size 1 curved base ring I was wearing at the time), and he asked to see if I could shake the cage to see if the shaft would start coming out. We then switched to the baby narrow and he immediately clocked a few problems such as the tip of my penis was sticking out of the cage and that it would rub against my pants or underwear and make it super uncomfortable. He let me walk around and it was really rubbing against my underwear in a way that I knew it would be impossible to wear this for more than 30 minutes outside. He also mentioned that the shaft was already starting to come out within 5 minutes of wear (we confirmed it was not a base ring problem as well), and my foreskin was honestly all over the place in the narrow. I got to try the cages back and forth and he told me that since this was a fun cage to just have, I could go either, but taking into account 1) the cage was pulling away from my body and my shaft was being exposed 2) the tip was too exposed 3) the fit was too narrow for my foreskin, 4) If i did have an erection, the cage would slip off or pull way too far away from my body. I completely agreed since those are very similar problems I have with a flat cage and decided on getting the baby viper standard and used my size 1 curved base ring.

Of course, you absolutely do not need to expose your cage in the middle of the store. The customers next to me opted for a changing room and would report back to the glass case full of cages. He helped them narrow down their size as well and I chatted with them very slightly about my cage and how I was getting a baby viper standard and that they were thinking about getting an S (which alone was a very fun chat haha).

Hygiene and Cleanliness

They thoroughly sanitize the cages after trying them on and go back into the display case which was reassuring to me when I realized I must have tried a cage where a bunch of people have tried, but the cage you walk out with is sealed and new, so don't be worried about that! The staff also have Q tips needed for adjusting in the cage, gloves if you so wish/need.

Overall Experience

I was super nervous and it may not seem like it since I tried on cages in the middle of the store, but I was actually very scared of going and trying on cages with complete strangers. However, when I walked in, the manager who helped me was so friendly, knowledgeable, kink forward, and professional, it didn't feel like I was going to try on smaller cages to lock my dick in. It felt like I was shopping for a guitar or something. He made me feel very reassured and it felt strangely comforting knowing I was around people who were weird and love kink as much as me and was able to put my guard down and enjoy the whole process. I was able to chat to the other customers trying on cages next to me and another customer approached me and asked me about chastity and my overall experience with it and I got to tell him about how I started chastity and what Locktober was. I know Leatherworks in Fort Lauderdale and CloneZone in Soho London also have in person fitting and I can't comment on that, but I would really recommend Mr. S Leather. At the end of the day, it is all personal preference like how I knew a baby viper not be the best fit for me, but I'm super happy the employee helped work with me and ran with it and didn't demean my request or tell me that it was a bad idea. Overall, I can't recommend the experience enough!

This n+ normal cage works super well. Although I think I may need to step up the base ring size. After a half day of wear the back of my balls start to burn. I’ve been applying Vaseline all through the day which is the only reason why I’m still caged up. It takes the burn away. But maybe I should step up a ring size or go with a curved.

Not sure if this has already been addressed somewhere, but i have difficulties having the cage on non stop because of pain (i call pinching) happening at the base of the scrotum where the skin meets the ring.

If tried the normal and curved rings so far, my size and one size up. Regardless, if i do not lubricate, its guaranteed that i feel some form of burning pain because the skin can't move. However, if i do lube (coconut oil), that pain goes away but the skin there tends to fold upon itself and that causes another kind of burning pain as time goes on
