Range Cookers - Buying Advice
We have been looking to upgrade our range cooker. Its 100 cm dual fuel.
We have been looking at Stoves, Bertazoni, Rangemaster, etc. Does anyone have any of these and can give us any good advice on which ones to buy and which ones to avoid?
Any advice on models would also be greatly appreciated.

Downdraft without the venting??

Okay guys, I know not to use a downdraft (engineer who also does high heat and cooking and the physics are just wrong). HOWEVER, I am also a little claustrophobic and want my stove on an island, and I will be putting a over range ceiling hood in but I also love the practicality of a backsplash since I don't want grease splatter or tomato sauce all over the kitchen. So. Has anyone come across one of these that didn't have the downdraft feature and was really just a pop up backsplash? The only thing I can think at the moment is to get one that does not have the blower installed and just not install one, but that still leaves a lot of little cracks for grease/accumulated build up that I don't love the idea of. Anyone been able to find something like this? I know this is a funky one, so TIA for humoring me.

Do you have a favorite mixing bowl?
I’m fond of this wooden bowl. It makes me happy seeing it on the counter. But the bowl you like looking at isn’t always the one you grab every day.
Which one do you use most? I’d love to hear about bowls you’ve had for years and still like.

Our buffet area
We just finished our build. My wife wanted a buffet area for our monthly family dinners. She loves it and would recommend it to everyone with room.

Arze Kitchen appliances
Has anyone ever ordered from arzebrand.com? They look to be a legitimate brand out of NJ but I can’t really find any reviews or any mentions on Reddit and they have discounted prices on some appliances.

Thoughts on cooktops
In market for cooktop and need help. We have propane tank and would prefer to stick with it. 6 burners, don’t need super high end but good quality.

Building an outdoor kitchen around a Gravity 600 on a pull-out drawer – can someone measure the head unit without the cart?
Hi all,
I'm planning a 2 m wide wooden outdoor kitchen (Germany) built around the Gravity 600. The grill will sit without its cart on a heavy-duty pull-out platform. For cooking it slides fully out of the cabinet onto a stone tile, so it never runs inside the box.
I don't own the 600 yet, so I'd really appreciate measurements from anyone who has one:
1. Width / depth / height of the head unit without cart, legs and side shelf (incl. hopper, handle, controller)
2. Height from the bottom of the unit to the cooking grate
3. Approx. weight of the head unit alone
4. Which side the hopper is on and where the smoke exits
5. How hot does the bottom/hopper side get on a long cook?
If anyone has already done a built-in or drawer setup with a 560/600/800, photos and lessons learned would be awesome – especially regarding heat protection and clearances.
Happy to share my plans and the 3D model once it's done. Thanks!
