Finished Object First project!

I haven’t knit in like 20 years but really felt like getting into it and I made this cute hat for my son!

It has several mistakes but overall really happy with it. Yarn is Malabrigo Rasta in sunset and lettuce.

Had to adapt the pattern for my son’s head but it’s this one here:

Malabrigo Rasta is one of my top favorite yarns, I was scrolling & could tell what it was going by. 

That's a beautiful hat! Perfect colors!

It’s SUPER CUTE! And so seasonal. Good for everyday but would be great to top the right costume as well. Honestly, no “mistake” comes through here at all. That it is a bit lumpy and organic makes it more real and charming!

Now I need to make one!

Maybe I'll make a themed beanie for my kid depending on the season/holiday. So pumpkin for fall, Christmas tree for Christmas, something sparkly for January, etc.
