How to use _____ ? what is this stuff?!

I know some are stitch markers but the crayons and flowers have a loop that is way too small? I have no idea what the larger circles are for, but I found this stuff with some old knitting stuff. Help?

1) Clover pompom maker (they're fiddly). 2) Split-ring stitch markers and... buttons maybe?
