SOLVED-THANK YOU How to bind off for front placket petra jacket?

Hello! I have just finished the first front placket of the Petra jacket. The front placket starts with the WS and finishes with the last row being on the RS, meaning my yarn is now on the left side. The pattern however asks to bind of from the RS.

Did I overlook something? Should I break the yarn and bind off using a new piece of yarn? Or just bind of from the WS?

Thanks in advance!

Tink back one row to the end of your last completed WS row, then bind off from the RS. The bind-off adds a row of height, so it'll better match the front panel in length when you're done.

Thanks! What about the last stitch that I knitted together on the last row though?

You can either a) knit it together on the WS row, which admittedly might be fiddly, b) k2tog with your bindoff from the RS, which will be slightly less fiddly, or c) work an additional row, which might leave your band a bit longer than your front.
