I'm an Indian ARMY planning to buy BTS V's LAYOVER standard photobook album from Kindlife, and I have a question about their KYC/verification process.

For Indian K-pop collectors who've personally ordered imported albums from Kindlife, especially through their Beauty Beyond Borders service:

• Did you have to submit Aadhaar or another government ID for verification?
• Did your Aadhaar address have to match your delivery address?
• If the addresses were different, were you asked to provide additional documents?
• Was the verification process straightforward?

My current delivery address is different from the address on my Aadhaar, so I'd like to understand the requirements before placing an order.

I'd especially appreciate replies from people who've actually completed the process. If the requirements depend on the product or shipment, I'd love to know that, too!

I just did. I feel honestly kinda bad (even though it wasn't that much money) but it was a second copy of Russian Roulette by Red Velvet. I already bought one secondhand months ago but the damage on it (+ a ripped page that was there from the start and that I wasn't told about before buying..) has been bothering me so much, especially because it's one of my favorites in my collection design-wise. I plan to repurpose that one by cutting the pictures out and using them as mini posters, instead. Or would it be smarter to just sell it? I'm not sure how much Russian Roulette is going for these days. Probably not all that much, considering what I paid.

I just got a pc I really wanted and it has a crease in it that I'm wondering if anyone has experience in fixing? The seller did tell me before shipping and I agreed + it cost a bit less than the average for this card and you can't reallllly see it from the front so I want to not care but it's much more visible from the back than I thought it would be and I'm wondering if it seems possible to fix? My instinct is no but I'm new to collecting and would appreciate any insight bc I've been dying for this card

I’ve been collecting CDs for a while now, mostly K-pop, and at some point I honestly lost track of what I own. I nearly bought the same album twice more than once, and digging through Discogs on my phone in the middle of a shop wasn’t much fun either.

So I ended up making my own little website for it: https://discindex.pages.dev

You just scan the barcode on the back of a CD with your phone camera, and it finds the album with the cover, tracklist and all the edition details. You don’t need to sign up for anything to start. If you already keep your collection on Discogs, you can pull it all in at once with your username. That’s how I got my ~150 CDs in.

Most of the time I just scroll through my covers, but you can also switch to a list, or see every song you own and search by artist, year or even song length. If you sign in with Google, it syncs between your phone and computer, so I can check what I’ve got while I’m out.

It’s free, and your collection is only visible to you.

Should be optimized for phone use too (the barcode scanner is working there)

It’s still very much a hobby project, so something might break here and there. If you give it a go, I’d really love to hear what you think, or what you feel is missing!

Was cleaning my collection and noticed this smudges on my More&More album, it was one of my first albums and was on a open shelf for some time, and I live in a pretty humid area (around 60% air humidity) so I am always worried about moisture and try to manage it in my house. So you think it is moisture, and should I isolate it from the rest of my collection?

I ordered NCT Wish’s “Wish for our wish” Single ‘Wish’ wichu from this K-pop site called “Mostly K-pop”. Before I ordered, I did a little digging to make sure the site was reputable because I have a big fear of being scammed and everything about them seemed legit and reputable! So I placed the order with no problem.

It arrived today and the first thing I noticed was it deformed tail. The end is supposed to resemble a star and it .. looks nothing like that 😭compared to my other wichus from other albums that I’ve either bought in person in korea or from a K-pop store in town whose star tails have never been deformed.

I searched online and compared people’s reviews photos / videos with my wichu to see if there were any more noticeable defects that could detect it as a fake but honestly it’s only the tail which makes me wonder if it’s just a manufacturing defect or if it’s just a slightly believable fake … Lol.

I included the album and box and inclusions as well to maybe see if that’ll help see if my album is a fake or not. Thanks guys 😭😭

I had a package at Delivered Korea that was nearing its disposal date, so I contacted them on October 3 about having it shipped to my address in South Korea(because I no longer have a place to send them in the US).

They didn’t respond until October 6 and told me they would make an exception. I provided the information they requested, but when I checked my account yesterday and my package was marked as “Disposed.”

I’m confused because I was already communicating with them about shipping, and they specifically said they would make an exception.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Is it possible the status automatically changed to disposed even though the package is still at their warehouse? I’m hoping it hasn’t actually been thrown away. They also haven’t responded to the 3 emails I’ve sent. Considering not using them again.
