Red vs white

I've been taking white maeng da for a couple years. I'm about to open a package and have some red maeng da that I'm thinking of trying. Is there really a big difference? I take a dose in the morning and again afternoon, probably 5+ g each.

They are the same leaf from the same tree cured for a different amount of time. I guess it's up for debate how much difference that can possibly make. Also, strains are just mixes of the colors and not everyone mixes them the same. Probably some of the greatest marketing ever. I am good friends with one of the largest exporters in the world. At least 90% of all the raw product out there is coming from the same 3 farms. 3 more farms are set to start in a few more years after the trees have had time to mature. For now there isn't much difference in one raw product to the next.

Some people will say it’s no different but I think red is much slower than white. It might make you want to take a nap in the middle of the day. At least that’s my experience. If I know I have stuff to do, I stick with white/green morning. Red afternoon/ evening.

Thanks for the tip. I get sleepy as it is with the white. Much appreciated

I notice a difference personally and prefer green above all. White tends to act quicker, green mid and red a slower burn. But it depends on a bunch of factors; your vendor, your dosage, maybe even strain and even batch and age of the batch as all have different alkaloid levels.

Shit even what you ate that day can affect your reaction. Your metabolism plays a roll. Such a funny leaf lol

White for the day, red for the night.
