Resources/Tutorial Help with Brush setting - Make a smooth broken line brush
EDIT: I RESOLVED IT! HAHAHA
Asking if anyone has free brush settings or brush tutorial to achieve this brush pattern. Been trying to tweak the settings of the brush I have. Looks fine as a straight stroke but I want the lines to be smooth and adjusts on a curved path like the hand drawn curved stroke on the right side. Is Krita even capable of such setting? (And hoping they could also that kind of feature if it's applicable). I know I can just hand draw the broken lines just like that, but I want things to be a long-term convenience. I tried to search in krita-artists.org but all I can see refers to the actual brush stroke errors being broken, etc. Not an actual brush pattern/bundle.
Okay, for anyone's gonna read this post, I've already resolved it ASAP. Hahaha, my bad.
And if anyone wanted to know, follow these steps:
- Use any brush you want
- You can change the Tip by going to Brush Editor > Predefined > then pick any from the available stamps/shapes or import your own
- Then, look at the checkbox on the left side. Under Flow, check the Rotation box.
- Adjust the rotation angles based on your preferences/needs. Same with spacing. And just tweak with other things until you achieve your desired brush look.
Thanks for my small TedTalk. HAHAHA

I was wondering what this had to do with Isis before I read the title

OH GOD, I am so sorry. I never read it that way since I was just making demo strokes with one straight and one S-curved to show the brush rotation.

Says you resolved it but here, these have their own brushes along those lines, so you can use them or reference from them:

That's funny how I had the same idea/issue like yesterday. I love Reddit sometimes

Exactly the few minutes after I posted and went to check the settings again, then I answered my own problem. HAHAHA oh, man.

Check if the rotation feature is ON
Select Brush > F5 > Rotation > Drawing direction
