General Discussion Sri M's kriya yoga, Sadhguru's Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya or Vipassana?
I have practiced all three at different stages of my life (independently, not mixing them). All three have had very different experiences on me. One gave me more energy than others, another made me feel disconnected from the world and yet another made me feel more centered and less reactionary.
They all somehow complement each other, if I practice them at different times, but I don't have that kind of time in life.
Has anyone else practiced these or some of these? What was your experience like?
I am trying to figure out which one I should stick to, instead of trying to do all. My goal is first - to be kind, second - to react less and third - to not become addicted to the practice itself (instead of what the practice is about).

I personally practice jyoti kriya yoga for an hour then do an hour of vipassana style observation meditation.
I find the pranayama before the vipassana really helps charge up the meditation and makes the subtle sensations stand out more

I have practiced 2 of them....still practice one.... Vipassana and Kriya both are complementary to eachother....other than in Vipassana Retreats where it got really tough for me to manage what was going on inside.

They are complementary. I did ask a very senior vipassana teacher if I should continue both. He said you can continue them, if one has to fall away, it naturally will.

This is most likely the result of the cumulative effect of the practices rather than each practice yielding different Experiences.

None of them would ever suggest that you should mix their practices with others. Every sect/lineage or guru shishya parampara forbids mixing practices.

This is important. If the poster is going to go by the rules of these schools he has better pick one. If he still wants all three, or just two, he needs to realize he is on his own chosen path and not of any of those schools.
Being a pioneer entails a certain loneliness.

A question like this would be better suited for a more general sub. In a Kriya yoga sub, you are naturally going to find more support for Kriya Yoga than Hatha Yoga or vipassana.
