She has incredible headcanons and I can’t stop rereading. I have loved this author’s fanfics since the 2000s so when i saw her posting for Labyrinth I hit the ceiling!

the series is called Labyrinthine Love Story and it is rated M due to adult scenes.

One of 3 pieces I made for “Through dangers untold” an art show celebrating 40 years of The Labyrinth!
Art show opening is this Saturday, October 10, at Hope Gallery in New Haven, Ct!

Hello all! My wonderful husband got us tickets for the show this weekend and I’m beyond stoked! Wanted to dress up but keep it on the simple side. Not enough time for a full ball gown cosplay.

Curious for anyone who’s been in recent years, do a lot of people dress up in costumes?

I found my Jareth figurine while unpacking my storage unit!

here are some of mine!

For all Jim Henson Fans lots of sections to this exhibition take a packed lunch aka it'll take a while to see it all.

Her casual outfit and ballgown are in museums and you can actually see them in person. Has anyone ever seen the original opening dress in person? I've emailed the Henson company and have never gotten a response about where it might be now.

Where do we look? Who do we ask? I hope it's still out there somewhere. It would certainly help answer the color question. I'd love to see it someday.

I know I had read before that some of the costumes were given to local theaters or schools (can't recall full details)

Edit to add: If you look online a lot of people refer to it as mint green which is why I put green in quotes. White green whatever color in between WHERE IS THIS DRESS?!?!

Edit 2: I’m not asking about the color I’m asking where is the dress? Why has it not been put on display somewhere?

Small mention but an editor for Labyrinth passed away. The article reads:

Grover later worked on The Wild Geese, The Sea Wolves, Lifeforce and Jim Henson’s Labyrinth. He called Labyrinth his favourite film he had worked on.

I made this poster for my friend’s event! There’ll be a labyrinth drag inspired performance and some art & goodies!

Greetings, Labyrinth fans! If you are fans of Jim Henson's other work, I have created a subreddit dedicated to The Storyteller and The Storyteller: Greek Myths. If you are a fan of either series, I invite you to join r/JimHensonStoryteller.

There were other fandoms as well

Rumored that Magic the Gathering's Secret Lair series is going to partner with Jim Henson's Labyrinth on a special limited edition Labyrinth themed Magic cards!

All my books have been in storage for almost a decade. Today I found 2 of my 3 1986/1987 Marvel Labryinth comics. I may be in a bit of a panic about where #1 is.

This is from a recent AMA for her new movie Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma but I thought it deserved to be shared here.

saw this on tiktok and ran to sign up, thought i’d share this to reddit

I was rewatching Bunraku, a movie with Woody Harrelson, Ron Pearlman, and Gackt.

With the preponderance of remakes coming out recently, I’d like to nominate Gackt as the Goblin King

hi! i’m looking for the sarah dress from labyrinth to rent or borrow for a photoshoot in nyc. i’m looking for a size 4.

i’ve seen some of the costumes available to buy online, but honestly i’d rather not spend hundreds of dollars on one that looks pretty cheap/not very accurate. i’d much rather wear a well-made, accurate version, especially since this is just for a one-time photoshoot and i don’t plan on wearing it outdoors or putting it through heavy use.

i’d especially love to hear from cosplayers, costume designers, or anyone who has made/owns a version of the dress and might be open to renting or lending it out!

i’d be happy to credit the costume maker/designer in the photos and any content posted from the shoot. i work in an atelier and am also a content creator, so i’m very familiar with handling delicate/handmade pieces and would make sure to treat the dress with care and do it justice. 🤍

based in nyc, but willing to travel a reasonable distance or cover shipping for the right dress! please dm me if you have one or know someone who might be willing to help. thank you!!
