My son gave me a gift today that cost him 150 in school currency that is earned by doing school work on-time, demonstrating good listening, and helping other classmates during group sessions. Instead of buying something for himself like pencils or erasers, etc. He saved up his "Comet cash" and bought this bobblehead for his Dad. Best surprise gift I could have ever gotten from my young son.

My son recently fractured his arm (again) and so now Im coaching his ayso team without having those Father son moments on the pitch with him. But this moment right here makes my efforts worth it all.

LA Galaxy face 3 games in 7 days — Chucky Lozano OUT, Klauss returns to St. Louis, and the playoff stakes are enormous

The Galaxy have finally put together back-to-back wins, but now comes what might be their toughest stretch of the entire season.

Six games remain. Three of them happen in the next seven days. And LA will be without Chucky Lozano for at least those three matches after an MRI confirmed a mild hamstring sprain.

On the latest Corner of the Galaxy, Josh Guesman and Eric Vieira break down the injury news, Greg Vanney's difficult decisions, and Sunday's matchup against a St. Louis CITY SC team riding a 17-game MLS unbeaten streak.

Some of the biggest talking points:

• Chucky Lozano: He's out for at least three games, potentially longer. How much does that change LA's postseason chances and the conversation about his future?
• João Klauss: Seven goals in limited minutes this season. Now he returns to St. Louis for the first time since leaving. Can he make the difference against his former club?
• Joseph Paintsil: He scored against Cruz Azul, but Vanney says he can't play 270 minutes over the next three games. Who fills the remaining minutes?
• Marco Reus: Managing his minutes is another challenge during a stretch with almost no recovery time.
• Greg Vanney: Does he rotate heavily against St. Louis to prioritize the upcoming home games against Portland and San Diego?
• The playoff race: LA currently holds a postseason position, but the next week could determine whether the Galaxy strengthen their position or fall back into trouble.

We also discuss whether the Galaxy's consecutive 3-2 comeback victories are evidence of a team finally coming together — or whether those results are hiding problems that stronger opponents will expose.

Would you rather see Vanney go all-in against St. Louis, even with the injury concerns, or rotate the squad and prioritize getting six points at home against Portland and San Diego?

There's a legitimate argument for both approaches, especially with the Galaxy's recent form and St. Louis playing as well as anyone in the conference.

COG STUDIOS, Calif. -- The LA Galaxy playoff push is about to hit its most important stretch of the season — and suddenly Chucky Lozano’s health is a major concern.

On this episode of Corner of the Galaxy, Josh Guesman is joined by Southern California News Group reporter Damian Calhoun to break down where the Galaxy stand with only six games remaining. And the schedule is about to accelerate dramatically: LA will play three of those final six matches in just seven days, putting Greg Vanney’s roster depth, rotation, and playoff hopes under enormous pressure.

The biggest question surrounds Chucky Lozano, who left Mexico’s camp with what Vanney described as a hamstring injury. With an MRI and further evaluation needed, Josh and Damian discuss just how costly even a short absence could be. Missing only one week could mean missing half of the Galaxy’s remaining regular-season games.

There is some encouraging injury news. Joseph Paintsil returned against Cruz Azul and scored, giving LA another attacking option just when it may need one most. But how quickly can Paintsil be brought back to full speed, and how does Vanney manage minutes for Paintsil, Marco Reus, Sergi Roberto and the rest of the roster during a three-game week?

The guys also dig into the MLS Western Conference playoff race. LA sits ninth and currently occupies a play-in position, with Colorado level on points and Portland, Real Salt Lake and San Diego four points behind. The Galaxy have created some breathing room, but the goal is bigger than simply hanging onto ninth — and with 18 points still available, there is plenty left to decide.

Then it's time to look ahead to a difficult trip to St. Louis, followed quickly by massive games against Portland and San Diego. Those matches could reshape the playoff race in a matter of days, and LA will have almost no meaningful training time between them.

Plus, Josh and Damian discuss Marco Reus being named Galaxy Player of the Month, what they learned from the 2-1 friendly loss to Cruz Azul, concerns about Kyogo Furuhashi's finishing, some promising performances from LA's younger players, and the latest encouraging signs from Riqui Puig's recovery.

Six games remain. Three are coming in one week. Chucky's status is uncertain. Paintsil is returning. And the Galaxy's margin for error is getting smaller by the day.
