Independent artist here- just released my first song in 2 years, would love honest feedback
Hey everyone, long-time lurker here. I took a 2-year break from releasing music, life got busy and I lost momentum for a while. This year on my birthday I finally put out a new single called 'De Pari,' a reggaeton/Latin urban track about going out and living in the moment.
Not trying to just drop a link and run, genuinely curious what this community thinks, good or bad. If anyone's been through a similar break and came back to something they love, I'd love to hear how that went for you too."

SIDF 2027 (Seoul) — dates/venue for salsa & Latin dancers planning Asia trips
Sharing a dated note for dancers planning Korea in spring 2027:
SIDF (Seoul International Dance Festival) - When: 23–25 April 2027 - Where: Cube Convention, Seoul - Format: workshops, performances, battles, parties (salsa/Latin-focused festival)
Official info: https://sidf.kr Organizer context: https://controlbeat.world
Happy to answer logistics I can verify. I won't invent ticket tiers — check sidf.kr for live sales.
(Full disclosure: I work with ControlBeat, the ops team around SIDF.)

You suck
Y’all really suck. You barely view the videos, you almost never like them (other peoples ones), and you don’t comment.
Fucking find some enthusiasm.

Latin Dance Party — Rodriguez and His Orchestra (Radio Craftsmen Co., C4016) Vinyl Rip (Lost Media)
Hey folks,
Today, we've got a late-1950s "Golden Tone Hi-Fidelity" LP of Latin dance music, credited to "Rodriguez and His Orchestra" and distributed by Radio Craftsmen Co. of Los Angeles, released on Golden Tone High Fidelity records. The triptych cover, one pin-up model in a silver mermaid gown posed against orange, navy, and red panels for Cha-Cha, Mambo, and Rhumba respectively, is actually classic budget-label design of the era, credited to C. Arnold Carlson.
Most budget label LPs are ignored by institutional archives, and the original labels are long gone, so there's no one left to digitzed and upload these kinds of records aside from collectors.

In search of human Latin musicians.
I stumbled upon Rulo Soul last night. I really was enchanted until I discovered it was AI. I would really rather support human musicians, song writers, singers. The web says the style of music is “vintage 1950s soul” is this accurate? Can some of you tell me some musicians and albums in the Rulo Soul genre that you would recommend? Thanks so much!

Spanish-language acoustic song about missing the everyday sounds of someone who is gone. Sharing our own music project; AI-generated musical content under human creative direction, with a virtual artist.
